Although live-shopping is not yet commonplace, brands are getting into this race. This is how they're successful in their fight to stay. It's very likely that in a few years it could be the preferred method for choosing products on the internet.
At a time when it appears that even shopping at the supermarket is risky without knowing consumers are evaluating shopping - both necessities and luxurious items from a different viewpoint.
This trend was initially spotted by fashion stores, who were sick of seeing fake photos and videos that were heavily edited. Sales are still severely hit by the flu pandemic. Pictures and videos won't bring relief to the situation.
Live sales are so important nowadays, not just to grow the business but also to provide the esteemed consumer what they want to buy. After all, many potential customers and those who are interested have yet to go to stores and they're in need of the personal service that comes with high-end products.
Live shopping is popular because it's engaging, fun and enjoyable. It could be the mainstay of shopping in the future.
Presenters may demonstrate the details of the product (left) and provide directions on how to apply essential oils and facial masks(center), or show how a product is made (right).
Online broadcasts can help an emerging product or brand gain recognition in the marketplace and increase customer trust in it. For example, some brands that are selling local products may host online broadcasts that explain - where these products come from, and how locals are using their products, before selling them directly. This method helps city dwellers build trust with small-scale companies and rural products.
