I was under the impression that Indeed was one of the most reputable job boards. However, recently, I have been dealing with endless "employers" who just claim to offer real job openings when in fac... See more

How are you suppose to find a job if this cruel company block you for a mistake made instead of giving you a warning. Put a honest review, trying to stop someone else enter a building that’s as toxic as they come to now I can’t apply for jobs. Ridiculous, no wonder so many people unemployed because of these websites making you go bankrupt, homeless & with bad credit. DO NOT USE THIS JOB WEBSITE OR GLASSDOOR AS THEY ARE LINKED.

I have spent a year and a half applying to well over 100 places where approaching 150 now I've gotten three interviews no call backs and no response from all the others I've responded to I follow up with them check in on the job and nothing this app does not work for anyone unless they pay for it if you pay for it like they advertise all the time that I'm sure you'll get a job but if you're using the free version It's a complete waste of your time I have also deleted my account

Avoid. Once they have your email address you get spammed every day.... ! I don't have time for that.

Indeed is the most annoying and aggravating job site.
Its algorithms are so so bad you cant trust that its not filtering out the actual job you might want to see. Every time I'm on it I feel sick to my stomach. Good job on making the worst job in the world - of searching for a new job - such a terrible experience.

Tried to access account but username and log in not sufficient, asking for old information I do not have anymore. Contacted customer service 5 times and they continue sending me in a loop.. ask for a new password.. and yes, same old information is requested. Just forget about this platform, time wasters.

Hopeless login process. Demanded two factor authentication one of the options was sending an email. There was also a warning about the token expiring after 10 min. I waited close to 10 minutes checking both spam and inbox. It eventually arrived but had expired. Pathetic. Just use seek.

I have used Indeed for years both to search for jobs and to post jobs. Up until December of 2025 I had a good experience using them. But in December of 2025 my account was suspended because I sent a mass email (which is an option that Indeed allows) to people who had applied to one position. In my email I pointed them to another position I had posted. I started getting responses, but within a few minutes my account was shut down/suspended. It has been suspended ever since.
To make this short, I have reached out to Indeed numerous times to resolve this and have followed their steps to resolve it, but I'm still being told I either have to do more or that they aren't able to help. I have spent hours trying to get this resolved and it still hasn't been resolved. It has been extremely frustrating, and has been a waste of time.

After reading through resumes and actively messaging canidates for a week my account goes in a 24 hour review and locks out the canidates and messaging. Which is completely unprofessional look for my business, since I'm already actively messaging canidates. This review process needs to be changed by indeed and should be done before any job listing is posted. After talking with multiple indeed representitives they tell me I will get notified in 24 to 72 hours of any documentation needed. The whole process could take up to 5 to 7 business days before the review lock ends.

I am not surprised when I saw this reviews!! Their pricing is very confusing . I paid £75 for one month but no good opportunity, definitely not same as before, customer service so poor, not helpful and they don’t care about feedbacks. never advertised there again.

RUN, don't walk! CONSTANT site problems and lack of accessibility are ridiculous!
Spam, 100s of postings for same job. Why are you letting them take over your site. Some people are trying to find real jobs, not look at 100s of the same UBER Job. Save your site.

I wish Indeed did something or something more to screen if the company putting up the ad is actually hiring or not.

Initially, I contacted to get support and they made it sound like I would be able to get it. It turns out I cannot.
There's no good reason.
Refuting Indeed's false claims:
I have contacted support multiple times about this problem and they refuse to help. They claim "it's not possible" but it certainly is. As a result, it's untenable to work with Indeed. I'll keep trying, but support is not supportive.

I live in Daventry. Anything with a postcode other than NN11 is NOT Daventry. Somehow, Indeed seem to completely fail to grasp this simple fact I can not walk or cycle up the motorway 15 miles.
Every time I receive an email claiming to have the perfect job for me, I'm left annoyed and disappointed. My most recent offering was headed as a job in Daventry, then the first line read Bicester! 27 miles away!

I am a certified secondary school administrator. I am looking to become a small school principal or assistant principal. To work that, I set my filters and "bang" I get 416 jobs that "match" my search. No I did not search for a Behavior Technicians role, an FBI agent role, a Pre School teacher, a Nurses Assistant etc. I had to go through 23 RIDICULOUSLY non-matched role to even get to a job opening even remotely close to what I was in theory "looking" for. PATHETIC!

So many Ghost jobs. The employers of several sales related job posting just put in any weird salary range like 80k - 200k?? Later you find out it’s fully commission - no base salary at all. Anybody can attract talent my posting disingenuous and exaggerated earning projections. Later the same employers complain when the talent leaves after realizing no matter what they do the higher end was not even achievable from the get go. Employers complain about attracting the wrong talent only because they lied from the beginning
