Really helpful

Really helpful. Had to get rid of my furniture for a few months, and instead of renting a van twice, loading and unloading twice. With some help of inbox storage loaded everything into a container on wheels which got wrapped into a truck and in some storage, no risk of damage, only load and unload once and with van rental in mind might even be cheaper then going yourself to a storage place.

Amazing fast service and very reliable

Amazing fast service and very reliable.

We needed a quick storage service that also did pick up and they literally came 12h later. Would definitely recommend to others!!

I was very stressed and they helped so much over the phone too. Even though a called quite a bit 😅

Inbox Storage himself hired a third party to help disassemble the big garderobes in our apartment. Because the third party took care of the garderobes and the driver and his coworker of the boxes and the rest of the furniture saved all parties a lot of time and the job could be done efficiently, despite the tremendous delay in the arrival time. That’s was the part of bringing to goods to the storage.

The follow up is the part of returning the goods.
This time they arrived ‘on time’ (between 08.00-9:00 am) but…. Since the beginning (august 2025) we have told and written to Inboxstorage about our garderobes; that we wanted them to be (dis)assembled very carefully. When the gardrobes arrived, we could see that these were no properly stored and packed the way we’ve agreed. So it was a very bitter and unpleasent surprise to get our garderobe door of glas broken. And the garderobe has now many damages from the in- and outside.
The way that they’ve promised something and do no fullfill it.. not recommeded!!!

I can't get some of my stuff back.
They're forcing insurance on me that I didn't agree to.
Customer service is awful!!!! Plus, there's this thing with hidden fees of €100 that I had no clue about!!!! It's totally awful!!!!

First, regarding your stored items: as long as outstanding invoices are paid and the contractual terms are met, customers are always able to retrieve their belongings. We do not withhold items without contractual grounds.

Regarding the insurance: insurance coverage for stored goods is mandatory. However, this does not mean you are required to take insurance through Inbox Storage. Customers may either provide proof of their own home contents insurance (inboedelverzekering) covering storage, or choose our insurance option. If no external insurance documentation is provided, coverage through us is automatically activated to ensure the goods are insured.

With respect to the alleged “hidden fee” of €100: we do not apply hidden fees. All costs are outlined in the agreement and available in our terms and conditions prior to booking.

As for customer service, we are sorry you experienced it that way. We genuinely do our best to assist every customer as clearly and professionally as possible.

NO SHOW at the pick up location

NO SHOW at the pick up location!
Terrible communication all over.
Had one option, pay double or leave my belongings to be taken to the landfill. I lost it all, and had to pay for it, because of The unreliable Inbox Storage company. I paid 3 months In advance (no other choices) , and then after 2 months I received an email to pay for a MANDATORY insurance on top of it. While I was not a client! And they kept sending emails. Even after my explanations. I wouldn’t be surprised if I receive an invoice for the next payment round of 3 months with 0 stuff with them.

First, insurance is not mandatory through Inbox Storage. Customers may either provide proof of their own home contents insurance covering storage or choose our insurance option. If no external insurance documentation is provided, coverage may be activated to ensure goods remain insured.

Secondly, prepayment of multiple months is not required in general. Advance payment is only applicable if a customer chooses to terminate early and wishes to retrieve their belongings before the agreed contract term has ended.

Regarding billing: the final invoice period runs until the official drop-off or termination date. Once the contract is properly concluded, no further charges are applied.

It is an scam

It is an scam, be carefule even getting a quote is equal to pay. Their system designed to rob you.
Never check their websit.
I asked for a quote and then they send and email that your quote approved and you have to pay within 14 days, which was not approved by me, they even gave me a invoice to pay which i have not even approved to select.
Scammers.

- After creating a quote with us, you are always taken to an overview page.
- To actually accept the quote, you must actively tick three boxes: accepting the general terms, confirming you will follow the packing instructions, and acknowledging the cancellation policy.
- Only after ticking these boxes and clicking “Book & Pay” is a booking created. Without these steps, nothing is confirmed and you are under no obligation.
- In addition, every booking includes a 48-hour withdrawal period in which you can cancel free of charge.

We also could not find any booking under your name. If you provide us with your customer ID, we are happy to look into this further for you.

Rude

Rude! The driver who brought back my stuff, he was a complete jerk, with a lack of better words. He was either completely ignoring me or he was talking to me aggressively. Customer service was really bad to overall, they talked through me the whole time and never listened to my requests and questions.

The company is steeling money from you…

The company is steeling money from you by increasing the amount of storage space which is do not need. They inefficiently store your goods which translates in much higher price than originally agreed. After you have picked up your goods and canceled the contract because of this unlawful practice they still send you invoices. I am now looking for legal advice to start litigation. This company is not recommendable and there are other storage companies who are.
