Extremely Horrible Experience

I would strongly advise anyone considering purchasing a vehicle from this dealership to proceed with extreme caution.

I purchased a vehicle through this dealership and within a very short period of ownership serious issues became apparent. The matter ultimately resulted in a formal complaint to the finance company, who investigated the case and upheld my complaint, confirming that the faults I raised were present at the point of sale. The finance agreement was unwound and the vehicle was rejected.

What concerns me most is not that a vehicle had faults. Any dealership can make a mistake.

What matters is how those mistakes are handled.

Throughout this process I found myself repeatedly chasing updates, requesting information and trying to obtain basic communication. Despite the complaint being upheld, the process continued to drag on for months, leaving me without a vehicle and significantly out of pocket.

The dealership requested further documentation before returning my deposit. I complied with every request made of me, returned the V5C, transferred ownership back and provided everything asked for. Royal Mail tracking confirmed delivery of the documents. The dealership then failed to acknowledge receipt, failed to respond to follow-up emails and failed to meet the timescale they themselves provided for returning my deposit.

At the time of writing, I am still having to chase money that should have been returned following a complaint that has already been upheld.

My advice to any prospective buyer is simple: carry out your own checks, obtain independent inspections where possible, keep detailed records of every conversation and email, and do not assume issues will be dealt with promptly if things go wrong.

Based on my experience, I would not purchase another vehicle from this dealership.
