After a month,they cancelled my order saying item is unavailable. It was released on 10-31-2025.
It's fascinating that a website owned by one of the biggest CD distributors in the world can't fulfill an order for a new release.

BE WARE WITH THE PREORDER. THEY TAKE THE ORDER AND TAKE WAY SO LONG TO SHIP MEANWHILE THEY SOLD ON EBAY AND THEY YOU PREORDER IS OUT STOCK, BU THEY CHARGE LITTLE BIT DIFFERENT AS WHEN YOU PLACED THE ORDER. NEVER BUY THERE, I ASKED FOR CANCEL MY ORDER AND MAGICAL THEY SHIPED RIGH AWAY BUT NO LONGER AVAILABLE ONE VINIL. IMPORT CD SKS

Price for "Panic Room" jumped up from $48 to $68 before I could order it!

Since I have read so many negative importcd reviews on this website, I thought I would share my recent experience.

I have made numerous purchases from them over the years and never had a problem...until now. I had ordered a DVD. When it arrived, I discovered that the manufacturer engaged in a deceptive practice. The cover gave every indication that the DVD contained two movies when in fact, it only had one. Naturally, I had purchased it for the missing title. This was no fault of importcd, however, it was not my fault either.

This was the first time I had to return an item, so I went to their website to find out how to initiate the process. First, you have to email importcd to explain the reason for the return and see if they will grant permission to do so. They replied the next day. In fact, every time I wrote them, I always received a reply the very next day. Once the permission to return was granted, the next step was that they were to send me a pre-paid shipping label. It arrived in about a week. According to the tracking number, the item was received.

One week after they received my return, I contacted importcd as I had not received my refund. They responded the next day and told me that the refund had been initiated the day before. They were correct... a refund was indeed credited to my credit card. I had paid $15.66 for the item. I was refunded $12.36. A couple of days later, without any prodding from me, the remaining $3.30 was also refunded. I was made 100% whole in this matter. I have absolutely nothing to complain about. Quite the opposite...I am pleased as to how the transaction was rectified.

I bought many DVD / Bluray from import cd's. I returned 1 dvd which was authorized. I used the label and my return address was also printed. They never refunded me saying that they never received the package which was never returned to me. I will never buy anything from this company again. They will be the losers because I am a collector.

Prices are ok but they sell used CDs as new (repackaged in shrink but scratches on CD) and even send CD-R instead of silver CDs. Avoid at all costs!!

THEY SELL BOOT LEGGED VERSIONS OF DVDs! Everything that I have bought from them is a pirated copy. Do not support this company. If your not sure how to tell if your dvd is pirated copy, YOUTUBE has lots of tutorials on the subject.

Didn’t deliver, didn’t communicate. Terrible customer service. Avoid.

This company is duplicating my CD and selling without my permission! These are FAKE CDs and importcds is not authorized to sell, I have no distribution agreement with them and get nothing from them. Buyer beware...they are copying the original CD. I suspect they are doing this on a good many of items they advertise, when you pre-order a CD they will burn you a copy.

I'm not sure if the importcds-au is the same company as this company but I bought a DVD on EBay from importcds-au and the postal carrier is an RR Donnelley who is based in Chicago Illinois so I'm assuming it's the same company. My DVD was not delivered so Im avoiding both importcds-au and RR Donnelley

The company ImportCDs has maybe quite good prices, but the main minus is ABSOLUTELY NO COMMUNICATION, ABSOLUTELY NO CUSTOMER SERVICE. Another thing is that their website is not very well managed and is sometimes confusing.
I ordered a vinyl LP, which I thought is Pink Floyd The Wall, however, when I placed and paid the order, I found out, that it was a tribute album. I sent them an immediate request for cancellation of the order. No reaction, no reaction either for my three following requests.

Having seen some of the other reviews I was a little apprehensive however I took the plunge and ordered 2 SACDs at a really good price. I needn't of worried they arrived with me after 10 days, well packaged and I was able to track the order from the US to UK.

This site is amazing, great prices for audiophile pressings and truly astounding at their inventory management. I have ordered from them numerous times and never had a cancellation of a particular item because they run a tight ship and only list something as "in stock" if they have it in their warehouse.

Don't trust the voluntary response bias on this page about a few people that had some bad orders. There are those of us out there that trust and love this site. If you don't believe me, trust their ebay profile(s) reviews.

Agree with previous reviewer - these people are not trustworthy - they lie about order cancelations and shipping - DO NOT BUY

Shady company with shady practices.i wish iihad read reviews before ordering. FAKE TRACKING NUMBERS. Stay with reputable businesses. DON'T TRUST THEM.

Have been buying all of my CDs from these folks for over a decade now. No complaints and great prices. I will continue to use importcds.com as my primary source for all of my future compact disc purchases.

Avoid! Totally unprofessional! Ordered a box set months ahead of release. Release day comes and no order. Several vague emails later, they are saying they would notify me. Item is now back ordered. Going to cancel and go with a company that cares about service

My first order with this company. Received order of a DVD, exactly two weeks after placing. Only problem I had was with the tracking. I live in Australia.

Cancelled a DVD which was wrong format within minutes of making order and they would not cancel the order so will NOT deal with scammers ever again wish I had read that ALL the reviews of these clowns are bad
