I am extremely disappointed with my experience with iHerb.
I placed an international order to Ukraine, and the situation turned into a complete nightmare. One product was missing from the package, and the protein powder I received arrived damaged and spilled all over the box. The packaging integrity was completely compromised.
What shocked me the most was iHerb’s response. They told me that if I want a refund, I must return the damaged product back to the USA at my own expense — and only then would they consider refunding the protein itself. The return shipping cost from Ukraine to the United States is almost as expensive as the product itself. This is completely unreasonable for a customer who received a damaged item through no fault of their own.
I also contacted the manufacturer directly — NutraBio — and their representatives confirmed that in this situation I should receive a refund, and that requiring me to pay expensive international return shipping for a damaged product is unreasonable.
I have screenshots of all conversations, photos of the damaged package, and all supporting evidence. I will continue documenting everything and escalating this case further through my bank and consumer protection channels if necessary.
Based on my experience, I cannot recommend iHerb for international customers, especially customers from Eastern Europe or CIS countries. Customer support made me feel completely ignored instead of protected as a paying customer.
After their response to my review, I want everyone to understand one thing: they are lying. Despite all their promises, nobody from their support team actually helped me in any way. I spent a lot of time contacting support, explaining the situation, and following their instructions, but nothing was resolved. Their public replies may sound helpful, but my real experience was completely different.

terrible delivery continue to say it was the carriers fault. Tracking kept changing daily to out for delivery to pending reschedule to in transit. Just a never ending loop. poor response to inquiries regarding delivery.
Never received product. Asked for refund. No reply. Would not recommend this company

I want to warn everyone about how iHerb manipulates its review section. I am a regular customer and have left several honest reviews, both positive and negative. Shockingly, iHerb ONLY publishes my positive reviews while completely hiding my negative ones.Whenever I try to leave a legitimate negative review explaining exactly what is wrong with a bad product, iHerb shadowbans it. They give me a vague notification stating my review is hidden 'due to certain reasons' and refuse to make it public. This is a deliberate, malicious practice by iHerb to deceive consumers.If you look closely at iHerb's website, most of the product reviews look like they were written by bots or paid shills. They do not feel like real customer experiences at all. I am now convinced that there are tons of fake reviews on this platform.iHerb is no longer a trustworthy shopping platform. They are intentionally suppressing real customer complaints to keep making money. Do not trust their 5-star ratings! I just said that this product is not good, and I didn't say anything related to medical care. But iherb said that my bad review must be related to medical care and will be hidden.

Unfortunately I will never shop there again because their customer service is awful. They have no phone number.
I see that iHerb answered my reviews twice. However…no one responded to my emails when I emailed them regarding something that I had on auto ship that I had cancelled months before and yet they shipped it to me anyway. Nor was there an agent available to have a live chat with. When I disputed the charge with my credit card company, I finally got the credit.
I miss being able to buy my spices on iHerb, yet I can’t take the chance that if there is a problem with an item I I will not be able to resolve it with them. Therefore I can no longer order from them, or any company that has no phone number.

They are great with shipping and refunding damaged items. However, it is getting very problematic concerning simply being able to leave product reviews and get the advertised 'instant' $1 per item. I never had issues in the past, but whenever I leave a review, it is not instant anymore, and I have to wait at least 48 hours. It is frustrating working with the customer service bot to then get to a real human and the person I have received messages from has left me in the dark since last responding, seemingly not doing anything yet to get me the credits. It is not clear what has changed, but the credits used to be instant and not requiring 48 hours to approve. It is frustrating because the customer service is now so poor when you actually need to contact a human versus how it used to be not too long ago. I'm not sure what happened, but just this issue makes me not want to order anymore. It's a simple thing, but I have chronic health issues and am autistic, and just trying to get some clarity on why this issue is happening so often and get discounts on my purchase so I can save a little bit of money being on a tight budget is making me waste precious time and energy trying to talk to customer service and still having to wait endlessly.
Even the reply to this review suggests they don't quite get the problem themselves. It seems I'll continue to have to put up with poor customer support just to get credits! What a shame.

ordering was easy enough but the delivery leaves a lot to be desired! You need to change carriers they do not deliver to the door. They left my package by the road where it could have easily been taken. I thought I was going to have to report the package missing but I found it this morning after a night out in the RAIN! UNACCEPTABLE for a delivery. They cant even come up the driveway and put the package in a secured location! :( It makes me question ordering again. ORDER NUMBER 944421061

I ordered 6 bottles of Dr Teals Lemon pro biotic body wash. I received 6 bottles of Dr Teals Lemon Sage Thyme body wash instead. I did not want this because I am allergic to the Sage and found IHerb was a company that offered the plain Lemon Probiotic Body wash, which I use. Plus, to add to the disappointment, the bottles were not properly capped and the liquid was all over the inside of box and bottles. They were thrown into a box or were rejects someone had sent back? I am waiting for both a return sticker and a refund. I will soon see what happens with this before I get my bank to take action. I just got my answer from the IHerb. They said my request was declined because I showed no proof. I sent five photos of Lemon Thyme sage bottles, sticky wet cardboard box and bottles, and the UPC label. I did all I could do but IHerb has zero customer service only Ibots so I will take this to my credit card bank services to dispute. Never will I buy from Iherb again.
