I had to quickly setup an insurance for my new car and Gustav was promptly ready to help me with it. Windscreen replacement made easy
I had to get my windscreen replaced after a stone chip cracked the glass very badly. I was able to make the claim online in a few minutes and it meant there was no paperwork or delay at the repair shop.

More international oriented would be good!
Although it is a good company, it would be s great help if the webside was also available in English. It took me, as a non-Swedish resident, a disproportionate amount of time to understand what I had to fill in and where.

They increase insurance price whenever…
They increase insurance price whenever they want, and give stupid reason for it. Also they have binding time which restricts anyone from finding a good price from other insurance companies.

Misalignment between customer Service agents
I contacted customer service today regarding my direct debit, as the payment was attempted from my old bank account. I had previously updated my bank details with your customer service team, but today I was informed that this cannot be done, and the previous agent was mistaken.
Additionally, I was charged a reminder fee for a late payment, despite not receiving any reminders via email, post, or otherwise. When I disputed this, I was told the fee could not be waived due to system limitations.
I’ve had multiple interactions with your customer support team, and each time I receive inconsistent information. This lack of alignment between agents is frustrating and unhelpful. I strongly recommend implementing clearer guidelines for your customer service team.
Given my experience so far—especially considering I haven’t even made a claim yet—I’m seriously considering switching to a different insurer.

A Pure SCAM!
Boy, oh boy!
I really wish I could give them a negative rating. Even then, it would probably still be too generous.
We had insurance with IF for our cats and had no issues at all, so we decided to move all our other insurance policies to them. What I'm reporting happened last year. We had a new car, and for the first three years, it was only covered with half insurance. So, technically, I had a contract with IF for partial-coverage. But without my knowledge, they switched my car insurance to full coverage—and at a price that was double the market rate.
When my wife asked me about the change, I checked and found out what had happened. Needless to say, I was really upset. I ended up switching to another company (the best-rated in Sweden for 2024) at half the price. I honestly felt like I'd been scammed.
Recently, I’ve had even more issues with IF, which is why I decided to share my experience here. IF may have been a good company 10 years ago, but today it feels more like a scam. Don’t believe me? Give them a try, and the next time you need to file a claim, you'll probably feel like you’re starring as a victim in Matt Damon’s movie The Rainmaker.
