Excellent service from this company. Very pleased with the results - we had a replacement front door and gable end picture windows. Friendly staff who arrived promptly each day.
We had our first lot of work done 9 years ago and felt confident to return to them when we wanted more work done this year.

From Estimating (Klaudia), through Surveying (Matt), Installation (Steve and Ben) and aftersales, the whole process has been an exceptional experience. I specifically chose IDSystems because I wanted a high quality product with a contemporary finish/aesthetic and we have managed to achieve this and more.

The large pitched gable end windows and french door sets are a major focal point of this project and as such, the final aesthetic was always going to be critical.

A product is only as good as the final installation and this part of the process was exemplary. The guys take great care and pride in the product and it was a pleasure to have them in my home.

Great products, responsive customer care. Would be 5 stars but lead time was considerably longer than expected.

We were doing a major extension in our Grade II listed house in Bath and wanted to find a high quality, low profile door system to make a seamless transition into the courtyard garden. The major suppliers we originally contacted were either very expensive or not interested to put the work in to the quote. We therefore did further research and found ID Systems on-line.

After a number of positive discussions with the IDS Team they were able to provide a competitive quote and confirm that they could install the doors in what was a difficult location to access (off a main road and only access through the house). On this basis we confirmed the selection and our main building contractor placed the order with IDS.

The build project ran approximately 12 months and IDS were able to stay on-board during the process, such that when the doors were needed for installation they met the schedule they had originally proposed. The supply and installation went without drama, and the coordination with the main contractor was first class and resulted in no cost/schedule variation.

The 3-panel doors have now been in for about 8 months and they are even better than we had expected. They are super low profile so provide a seamless link to the garden as we had hoped, and they operate perfectly, opening with ease even though the 2 operating doors are sizeable units. In summary the doors make all the difference in how the garden room looks, feels and interfaces with the garden. We are delighted with the quality of the product and in IDS service and highly recommend them.

We choose the Edge 2.0 sliding door system and rear door and couldn't be happier the the product, aesthetics and operation.
It sets off the new extension we had built and these doors are a focal piece of the design.

Very pleased with the product, but found the customer contact very poor, long wait time between ordering & delivery, plus installation. Very quick to take upfront payments, but very little communication from customer-service when requesting supply improvement dates.
Installation teams were fine, polite & hard working, probably the tea & biscuits helped.

Excellent knowledge and professionalism from the salesman right through to the installers.

IDSystems installed two sets of sliding doors and two sets of bifolds just over 5 years ago and not only have each one been defective, but the after sales service is appalling. They ignore their own surveys, will install defectively and then attempt to charge you to resolve it. If you do not accept it then they will threat you with solicitors and litigation. There are many other competitors and I would urge anyone considering IDSystems to avoid them.

Further update......

Their reply below suggests they were instructed by the builder which is disputed and a simple cop-out with zero evidence.

If it was the case they should not have installed against the specification of their own survey.

When the details of the install were revealed during remedial works, I was so shocked at their quality and service. When I questioned their justification to charge for their own defective installation, they just made up assumptions and assertions together with threatened litigation. At no point did I refuse payment but asked for justification for full payment or to accept my offer considering the expense I had to invest to resolve their error. When i put my initial review on Trustpilot they immediately accepted my initial offer to resolve unsurprisingly.

It is also insightful that they do not allow their customers to share photos of their installs on social media or Trustpilot.

Shocking service and behaviour.

Got some new bifolds from idsytems installed recently and couldn’t be happier with them. Great function and design, perfect for what we needed. Great service from start to finish.

Fantastic service from the team at IDSystems. We had the EDGE 2.0 sliding doors installed as part of our new extension, we are over the moon with the product quality. From the knowledgeable office and the attention to detail from the fitters, we would definitely recommend these guys!

Terrible customer service. Severe lack of communication & constant chasing for answers on progress of our order. Total lack of empathy & understanding and even attitude given back on the phone from an installations ‘manager’. Do yourself a favour & look elsewhere, would definitely not recommend.

IDSystems installed a Sunflex apex to our new extension back in 2004. The installation team and post sales service has been excellent. We have had some very minor (aging) issues that have been quickly solved by either a maintenance visit (in warranty) or some guidance for self-maintenance.

I can't speak more highly of IDSystems and have no commercial interest in this company to warrant a review; I have just been impressed with my latest interaction and felt the need, two decades on to write a review.

Customer service is second to none. Great communication from Joanna in the office. Kevin, Mark, Glen and Michael are a pleasure to have in the house and work hard. Any issues always resolved. These guys are a credit to the company.

ID Systems were recommended to us and we'd certainly recommend them to others. They did a great job for us by designing our bi-fold doors exactly to our specifications. Their fitters worked really well with our builders and did everything they said they would and were on budget and on schedule.

Recently moved into a house with some internal sliding doors that were not working correctly as they "locked" up when closing. Contacted the manufacturer who put me on to IDSystems as they were able to identify them as the original installer some years previous. A quick call to IDS and they arranged for a service visit to come round and check the doors out. The engineers quickly found a small plastic guide clip was missing allowing the doors to move apart causing the lock-up. They removed the doors and checked everything was OK and replaced the clip FOC. Excellent service. When the wife finally beats me down and gets me to agree to the Bi-fold door she wants, I will be sure to give them a call!

My wife and I were looking for glass doors with thin sight lines and after visiting several manufacturers choose the Edge 2 sliding doors by IDSystems. We travelled to their showroom in Norwich where we met with Neil who was very helpful and answered our many, many questions. They were then extremely prompt with their quotes, we had several as we honed the specification and very helpful explaining the details. Install was on the date they said and the two guys who undertook the fitting were excellent. The difference to the room they are installed in has exceeded our expectations, just brilliant. I would thoroughly recommend ID Systems.
