i returned an article via EVRI and low and behold when I checked the amount refunded they had deducted a further £2.99! I spent about an hour on their chat system with a CC agent who didn't seem (or perhaps want) to understand the situation. After giving all my details (twice) I was asked the reason for the return. I am at a loss as to understand why the reason for my return unless the goods were faulty was relevant. It was only when I threatened a formal complaint that she decided to give me the refund without further hassle. I seem to recall that their system automatically deducts the return postage fee regardless of how you return goods and that at that time I was advised to always contact them to refund the incorrectly deducted postage charge. You would think that those on the chat system would be aware of this and not ask for irrelevant information. So I say BEWARE if you return anything via EVRI always check the amount of your refund!

As you returned the item using your own Evri return label, we refunded you the full item value of £15.61. No return postage was deducted from your refund, as you arranged and paid for the return shipment yourself.
The remaining £2.99 relates to the original delivery charge for sending the order to you. As outlined in our returns policy, the original delivery charge is non-refundable when an item is returned.
However, after reviewing your concerns and as a gesture of goodwill, we issued an additional refund of £2.99 so that you were not left dissatisfied with your experience.
For future reference, please note that the original delivery charge is normally non-refundable, even when an item is returned.
