Brillaint learning provider. Brian and his team were responsive right from the start and Nicky our tutor really cared about making sure we understood what we were learning.

I have completed the complete ICB Platinum package which consists of ICB L2, L3, L4 and Payroll Management. The quality of materials and tutoring for each module has been consistently high and the overall support, second to none. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending Ideal Schools to anyone interested in investing in their bookkeeping career.

If you’re thinking of enrolling on a course with Ideal Schools - do it! I started my ICB L2 course in August 23 and completed it December 23. The course work material is clear and thorough and the help from the tutors is excellent. I’ve now moved on to L3 and have no hesitation in recommending Ideal Schools. I’ve managed to fit my studying in around 2 part time jobs and although it’s hard at times I’m thoroughly enjoying it!

Having already completed ICB BK Level 2, I was already familiar with Ideal's approach and helpful staff, however I want to give a shout out to Payroll tutor Nicky, as she was super helpful and encouraging; always speedy with replies, marking and guidance. It was really appreciated.

I have just completed my ICB Level 3 Certificate in Bookkeeping, and Ideal Schools have been really excellent all the way through from when I started my level 2 back in January 2022 as a complete beginner. One of the reasons I chose to use them was because their level 2 course covered Xero (which I used at work, not really understanding how it worked), but once I got going with my studies I realised that the whole set-up was really well thought through and organised. The tutors that I have spoken to during my course - Brian, Scott, and Marion (for the Xero part in level 2) - have always been really friendly, helpful and encouraging. The course material is very thorough and well put together, and the assignments and mocks prepare you very well for the exams.
I would highly recommend Ideal Schools for studying for ICB exams!

It has been a very positive experience to have chosen Ideal Schools as my course provider. I have now achieved ICB Level 2 Certificate in Bookkeeping in only a matter of months. The course materials are top notch and the layout, together with lots of mock exams really set you in good stead for the actual exams. Tutor feedback is swift and helpful and Brian and Team have gone above and beyond on occasion to ensure my studies go well. I highly recommend Ideal Schools to anyone who is looking to study ICB.

Once again used Ideal Schools for studying this time it was payroll. Couldn't fault the excellent service from start to finish. The manuals arrived straight away so arrived whilst still in the "zone" to study. Also a big shout out to Nicky who was at the end of a phone or email and delivered quick responses to assignments and queries. There is also two Facebook support pages for students, so always someone available to help. Would highly recommend Ideal Schools for those starting on a Book Keeper career path or wanting to update knowledge.

I have completed 2 ICB courses with Ideal Schools (Level 2 Certificate and Payroll Diploma) and achieved Distinctions in both. The assignments and mock papers really prepare you for the actual exam, and all the tutors I've had have been so encouraging, and are always on hand to advise. I would highly recommend them as the best choice of training provider.

I am so pleased I chose Ideal Schools to facilitate my learning as I embark on a career change. It's taken me a lot longer to complete level 2 than I had planned (for entirely personal reasons), but the study materials are well set out and easy to follow, which meant I could easily pick up again where I left off. The course structure helps to build knowldege and prepares you well for the exams. It's really nice to know that there is so much support available from the tutors at the end of the phone and by email - I haven't really had to use it much yet but reassuring that it's there! Thanks!

I've now completed Level 3 ICB (as well as L2) and the support from Ideal Schools has been excellent. All the team are very helpful, professional and friendly and you feel that they really want you to succeed. Exams are arranged quickly and the team help keep you motivated to keep going when you get to challenging parts of the course. I did get quite frustrated at times eg. trying to understand depreciation whilst also quitting caffeine! They remained very patient throughout and I was given some extra examples to use as practice. The training materials are thorough and I also found it helpful to have Frank Woods Bookkeeping & Accounts (9th edition) alongside the course material, as it had some more examples / different ways of explaining things.

The best school if you want to easily achieve your goals as everyone at Ideal Schools is helpful and supportive. Many thanks to all the lecturers who are dedicated in making sure the students pass with flying colours. Not forgetting Brian and Sheila, they are the best.

Found tutors to be unhelpful and sometimes rude despite other reviews raving about how supportive they were, maybe I was just unlucky
