the pricing structure was misleading. I signed up believing I was purchasing a $15/month subscription that I could cancel at any time. I was not clearly informed that I was committing to a $179.99 annual charge. Had this been transparent during checkout, I would not have proceeded with the purchase and they refuse to refund me. While they do have a nice selection, I never purchase annual subscriptions.

I really appreciate IconScout's versatility, not only with the types of designs that they offer and the easy options for customizing, but their customer support goes above and beyond even on a Sunday night. They're well worth every dollar.

Good platform deep dive documentation could be lightly better, but asset quality is solid

Iconscout is an incredible platform for designers and developers. Their vast library of icons, illustrations, 3D assets, and animations makes it easy to find exactly what you need. I especially love how simple it is to customize assets and integrate them with tools like Figma and Canva. The quality is top-notch, and the variety ensures I never run out of options. Highly recommended for anyone looking to elevate their design projects!

I’ve been a contributor on IconScout since 2020 and the experience has been really good overall. The platform is easy to use and well organised. I also use IconScout for my personal design work, and the quality of icons and images is excellent. You can easily find good-looking icons for different design needs. Definitely a reliable platform 👍

Best one place solution for icons & illustrations.

Like many other commenters, I was surprised to find that you have to pay for a year in advance (which I think is intentional), so when I was charged 180$ instead of 14$, I was shocked and devastated. Having read the comments here, I realised that it would be difficult to get my money back. I think this is a "survivor" bias (only people who didn't get their money back wrote the comments), so I wanted to say that, after four days, I received the full amount I paid. Moreover, customer support was polite and responded extremely quickly.

Avoid at all costs! Con artists! & refuse to give refunds even when they say they would. If they hassle you, do a chargeback. That's how I got my money back from these people.

We’ve been facing a persistent issue with our inability to download icons from Iconscout, which is directly impacting our team’s workflow. Despite our repeated follow-ups and a clear explanation of the problem, the issue remains unresolved.

What’s especially frustrating is the lack of proactive support — we didn’t receive any prior communication asking for clarification until after the ticket was closed. We’ve now requested multiple times for the ticket to be reopened, but haven’t received clear guidance or any effective resolution.

We expect better transparency and support from a platform that charges for access. As a customer, being left in the dark while productivity is affected is not acceptable.

We hope this review prompts your team to take such support cases more seriously moving forward.

Stealing assets and reselling them.

Iconscout’s integration with tools like Figma and Sketch is brilliant. I can pull assets straight into my projects without any fuss. It’s streamlined my design process in a way I didn’t know I needed!

My account was blocked without warning, claiming suspicious activity. I contacted support and explained that my usage is fully educational and within the platform's rules. Even so, I’ve been without access for over 8 days.

The support is very slow, each response takes more than 24 hours, and now they are asking for a meeting even though I have already explained everything by email. This is very frustrating because I pay for unlimited downloads and I’m being punished for using the service normally.

If they don’t solve this soon, I will cancel and look for another platform that is more reliable and has efficient support.

Advertising "Get started, it's free!" to get your email, then once logged in, you've to pay to download icons. Utter waste of time!

I’ve been with IconScout for a while, and it keeps getting better. Since the Lottiefiles acquisition, the Lottie animations have been a fantastic addition. It’s exciting to see the platform evolve while staying true to its quality roots. I also love their collection, which I think is getting uploaded on a daily basis.

I've been a loyal paying member of IconScout for multiple years. After several years of paying them hundreds of dollars, I needed to cancel my subscription for a short time.

Their website makes it nearly impossible to cancel, so I reached out to their support to cancel my subscription BEFORE it renewed.

They refused with some BS response that I allegedly downloaded 1 asset after the renewal time (to put it into perspective, I've used many hundreds of assets over the last few years), and proceeded to charge me $300.

I am currently fighting the charge via my credit card company, but will never deal with this fraudulent company again.

I, like many others, was inattentive, and suddenly, the very expensive annual fee was deducted. This definitely seems intentional and so dubious that, if a refund is refused, I will consider taking legal action.

I bought by accident their anual plan, and I did not use ANY of the services the plan provides and asked for a refund 20 minutes after, it was 48 hours ago and their first option was to refund me just part of the money and suscribe for their quarterly plan.

After I read that I told them I needed a FULL refund and they have not answered since then.

They didn't have what I was looking for (I needed a wide selection of music studio content). They declined to refund me as I had downloaded an irrelevant fireworks file as a test.

They downgraded me from an annual pass to a quarterly pass. I had requested that they cancel the renewal. Which they didn't do, and didn't mention they didn't do.

I'm sure the content and assets are fine. But the customer service is way below what my company delivers and what people have come to expect these days.
