Dear Harry,
We were disappointed to read your review and want to make clear that we take your accusations very seriously.
We’re sorry to hear that you felt our onboarding process was not clearly explained. Our Head Content Creator held an introductory call with you within 48 hours of signing your agreement. During this call, just as we do with all our clients, we discussed the strategic direction of your brand. At that early stage, we also needed to address practical matters such as receiving your product and scheduling your shoot days. At the time of this call, your product was still in the post, which naturally delayed our ability to begin production immediately.
Despite these necessary logistics, we delivered all but two of your videos within the first month. While we understand this may not have aligned with your expectations, it was explained from the outset that although deliverables are shared monthly, production is carried out over the full three-month contract you agreed to. In simple terms, the two videos outstanding from Month 1 would be completed in Month 2, with the full agreed amount of content delivered over the contract term. We viewed this as a fair, obvious and standard solution, which most reasonable professionals would share.
Nevertheless, in response to your concerns, we issued a formal reply within 10 days and extended a goodwill offer of two additional weeks of service, free of charge, where we would produce further content beyond what was contracted. You declined this offer, chose to reject all services despite being in contract, and withheld the remaining payments owed. This was disappointing and not the conduct we would expect from another business owner.
In your review, you also referenced poor paid media results and a low return on ad spend (ROAS), implying that our team may have contributed to this. We are especially disappointed to read this as part of your review, as we were never instructed to manage your paid media campaigns as part of your 'Service Agreement'. Our role was solely content production, and we find it disingenuous to associate your ad performance with Iconic Vision. Notably, the content we created continues to be used heavily across your platforms, which would suggest that it is of commercial quality and continues to serve your brand.
We remain open to finding a constructive way forward and hope this clarifies our position for others reading this review.
Kind Regards,
The Iconic Vision Team
