Avoid this company

Purchased a chiller August 23

Chiller set up instructions provided were not sufficient so had to contact icetankadventure who provided more comprehensive instructions. 

Pipes then leaked, contacted icetankadventure and replacements were sent out within a couple of weeks which has resolved that issue.


I have struggled to get the chiller to the desired temp without leaving it running constantly, I think this could be explained more clearly on the product site to manage expectations; you pick a temp, then correct the temp difference between what the chiller thinks it is and what the water temp in your ice bath actually is, you the select an amount you are happy for it to deviate from the desired temp. If you want a set temp the chiller will run all day and night. if you pick a 2 degree difference the chiller will keep the waters around 2 degrees higher than your target. its been very difficult to get the temp the chiller thinks it is to match the tub I insulated the pipes and tub but still have to adjust this value regularly.


The taps provided rusted within a few weeks, I contacted icetankadventure who suggested I remove them as they were not required. The wheels on the chiller unit have also rusted already.

There are no instructions on a filter change, I changed the filter after a month of use and the chiller stopped working, I contacted icetankadventure who never replied that was over 4 months. I used facebook icebath community groups to get the chiller back up and running in the end.

May 2024 chiller has stopped chilling and pumping. No response from the company to email or website contact form

. I had to make a section 75 claim through my bank.

June 2024 Company got in touch and said they were looking to resolve. A number of dates to collect the faulty unit and deliver a replacement came and went. Emails have gone unanswered so I have had to get the bank to prompt them to reply. I received WhatsApp messages threatening to withhold a replacement if I did not remove my trustpilot review. I removed it once the replacement arrived.

July 24 The replacement also does not work correctly. I am now in the process of making a claim against my bank and reporting this company to trading standards.

Love using the advanced ice tank! Great product! Works really well for recovery after heavy exercise.

I am using this way of communication as a last resort of getting in touch with the company.
The chiller is not working, doesn't even go close to the desired temperature.
No answers to my emails or phone calls. I'm trying to reach them to let me know if I'm doing something wrong at least.
Hopefully someone will get in touch with me.

Do not buy from this seller. The chiller took weeks to arrive despite a conversation whereby the stock was assured to be in hand.
All pipes leaked and constantly had airlock issues without getting anywhere near specified temperatures stated on the site. New pipes were sent out then eventually a replacement chiller which has all the same issues. This chiller unit is not fit for purpose and I will be following up with trading standards with regards to the items being sold by this company. I will also be uploading a youtube video to highlight all of the issues to make other buyers aware of this company.
The company have currently stopped responding to my messages so will be sending recorded letters and emails to follow up complaints in the search for some kind of resolve other than me being out of pocket £1500

I ordered an advanced Ice Barrel with Water Chiller on 5th December 2023, the product states 30 days delivery, despite the delivery taking much longer than expected, after getting in touch with Sam who explained the cause was because of a delay with the supply chain, Sam kept in touch until the tank / chiller were delivered as promised.

This is the 2nd review I have posted having taken the 1st one down in return for a replacement ice tank that never arrived. I am now left with an unuseable product and £85 poorer as all of my attempts to communicate with Ice Tank Adventure through chat, email and voice messages have been ignored. The only time I recieved any response was following my previous review when I was offered a replacement IF I removed it. After 8 weeks I am out of patience and out of pocket with no ice tank.

Excellent product, quality and colour great

The product was later than the 30 day promised on the website, so it wasn't a great start. However i had a good conversation with Sam on the phone and after a couple more teething issues with delivery I received the product and couldn't be happier. Worth the wait. Its a great chiller unit for the price, I'd recommend the investment.
Sam stepped up after the initial conversation and kept me fully upto date with all the progress of the delivery. Aftercare was and still is great.

Customer service on point. Always quick to respond to queries. Set up was easy. I had a few leaks around the pipes but Sam was great and talked me through what I could do to resolve the issues and now I have no problems.
I can't believe how cold the water gets from the chiller and even in the 30 degree heat we've been having it still says cold (10 degree increase) in 24 hours

They made a great effort to keep me informed of my delivery and both the tank and chiller unit were very well made. I would not hesitate to recommend them. In fact I have to a number of people who have used my ice bath

Loved it. Never thought I'd be brave enough to jump into ice cold water, but it certainly helped me recover from my long run. I'd do it again.

I couldn’t speak highly enough of Ice Tank and their products.

Starting with the robes, simply divine, a real treat for those cold days!

For the ice bath itself, I did a lot of research into the market of CWT and was really impressed with this product - with sustainability at their core, coupled with an easy to product that looks fantastic and doesn’t break the bank, this was a no brainier for me, and I wasn’t disappointed.

Absolutely loved this product. Great at aiding recovery post exercise and reducing DOMS. It really boosted my energy levels. I would love to try the ice tank pump one day! I would highly recommend !

I recently bought an ice tank with a chiller to help with my Hyrox and marathon training and it has completely transformed the way I able to recover between sessions. Prior to purchasing this I was never able to train on consecutive days due to soreness in my legs however after 10 minutes in the tank my legs feel almost as good as new. The ice tank is also very easy on the eye and super efficient to use thanks to the chiller saving the need to buy new ice every time I want to use the tank.
