Probably the worst customer service…
Probably the worst customer service ever!
I experienced two issues
I experienced two issues. The first was an order for water. Apparently, it was in stock when I placed the order (and paid), but was unavailable on the day of delivery. I asked them why their stock system didn't reveal this (the reply explained nothing)
The second issue was about a special offer (buy two and get one free). I assumed they would automatically include the free item when completing the order (wrong). I was told I had to enter three items in the checkout. Unfortunately, there is no explanation about this on the website. I complained and expected some offer of compensation, but was given a response that was basically saying 'your mistake' not our problem.
I had two exchanges with the customer service department and received replies from employees (from other countries) who were simply sending out pre-recorded letters and not interested in addressing the problem.
Companies who operate in this fashion do not deserve our business.
Just want to thank the delivery driver…

Wouldn't even give 1 star despicable…
Wouldn't even give 1 star despicable branch take ur monies and don't deliver, even customer service cannot get thru. You have to complain to the top Sir Malcolm Walker to get any issues resolved. Bad management bad customer service in luton parkway Street still on the phone to Luton for an hour they keep putting phone down.
Ordered for delivery today
Ordered for delivery today. I order very little directly from store now as I can get some of the iceland foods I like from a large delivery company who really deliver for free and put it in bags for me. Its impossible for me to receive this unbagged order now as its too hard for me to try to lift things from the floor into bags. Reason I order online is because I cant visit the store anymore. The delivery guy said I could carry them to the kitchen and unpack them there that's even harder..... I really dont think standing frozen goods in the sun on a 32° day whilst a photo is taken on my doorstep is clever either. So its over to a bagged and delivered within a couple of hours firm.
So after buying 6 free range eggs from…
So after buying 6 free range eggs from Iceland warehouse Strood my whole family of 5 have been I’ll constantly regurgitating the taste of egg constantly being sick and I need not say more well I cannot get back to the Iceland food warehouse in Strood Kent at the moment as I’m struggling to get passed the bathroom door so I called there customer service number asked for complaints to be told by someone they only take complaints for online orders I find this hard to believe but am disappointed that I cannot find a contact number direct to the store so if some please could help with a contact number direct to the store I’d be most grateful
Be wary when visiting Iceland Weston…
Be wary when visiting Iceland Weston super mare they are in partnership with excel parking who are aggressive parasites even if you have blue badge status they don't care it makes you wonder when a company like Iceland is governed by this company to do your shopping for 1 hour what has happened to the days when a shop was happy to for you to park and spend over £100 shame on you
Very bad experience I went twice this…
Very bad experience I went twice this week the security man keep chasing me I’m a gentleman, and I have established business which I am running for last 30 years. my kind request to the manager change this man otherwise you lose a lot of business. I won’t be coming back if this guy still here. many thanks.
Ridiculous service
As a local resident, we usually shopping our daily groceries from Plaistow branch Iceland .
But the staff from the store are always very much NOT helpful and full of attitude. Never given any attention to the customers whatever they need .
Complete ridiculous service.
First order £50 worth of steak and 3…
First order £50 worth of steak and 3 dozen eggs ! Got the Eggs but no Steak what a waste of time will not use again .
Terrible customer service
Terrible customer service. Very disappointed by what I saw in Iceland Supermarket Barkingside high street, London IG6 2AW
Often there's only 1 till open with an uninterested/rude staff member and long queues, with the rest of the staff hiding in the backroom.
Over the year, I have noticed how the size of the so called "Iceland 10 Large Class A British Eggs" has shrunk to new depths and the price keeps edging up!!
Its almost as if the staff are sitting in the backroom swapping out the large eggs for smaller eggs and then putting them out on shelf. OR Iceland's supplier is taking the mick and calling them Large eggs when its substituting much smaller eggs into the box. I did complain, but all I got was a shrug. Either way its fraudulent and someone needs to look into it. I doubt the Iceland lazy top management will be bothered. Store managers are rarely visible, why should top management be bothered?
They charge you 3 pounds for delivery
They charge you 3 pounds for delivery, 2 pounds to put it in crates that you have to then take delivery without bags your end. 5 pounds for delivery without bags. Total rip off. Don't bother.

The worst customer service I've ever…
The worst customer service I've ever experienced from a supermarket.
Im not sure if all their customer service replies are AI? Or if its just made up of persons with poor English language skills who cut and paste stock replies without being able to think for themselves.
Iceland missed a whole crate of drinks off my order. Proven by the delivery driver photograph.
7 emails later and I have 7 identical cut and paste replies. 4x I've asked to speak to a manager and am just being ignored.
Truly horrendous.
Do not use this supermarket.
Do not use Iceland
I raised a complaint regarding issues with the delivery yet again. The customer service team sent several emails asking me for information I had already provided. The are refusing to deal with the complaint. I will NOT be using Iceland again. Worst customer service, orders never right, 1-2 days used by dates on food. They no longer pack into bags but charge you for picking and packing,
Extremely disappointed by what happened…
Extremely disappointed by what happened in Iceland Supermarket Wythenshawe ! I was shopping with my 13-year-old son and daughter. My son bought a pizza using his own Monzo card and left the store while I continued shopping. He later realised he had forgotten to take his receipt, so he went back to take his receipt.
When he returned, the security guard stopped him and asked for the receipt. My son didn’t have it with him and, being only 13 and already nervous, struggled to explain himself. Instead of checking the payment or listening to him, the security guard took the pizza from him, accused him of theft and threatened him with the police.
My son even tried to show the payment on his Monzo app, but the security guard refused to look at it. He became so frightened that he left the store crying and waited outside for me.
I went back into the store and asked what had happened. The till colleague confirmed that my son had actually paid for the pizza. She explained that he had simply forgotten to take the receipt and had now returned specifically to get it.
How does forgetting to take a receipt make a 13-year-old a thief?
What upset me most was that there seemed to be no attempt to verify the payment before accusing and threatening my child. He was left extremely distressed over a £1 pizza that he had actually paid for with his own money.
I left the store extremely upset, and my son left without the food he had paid for.
I genuinely hope Iceland reviews what happened and looks seriously at how this situation was handled, particularly the way a 13-year-old child was approached, accused and threatened.
Within ladt month I have bought milk…
Within last month I have bought milk from Greenford branch within sell by date, 2 days later the milk has gone off. Latest incident was i bought milk on 7th August. Within 5 minutes i was home and put the milk in the fridge. Today on 9th August I was so disappointed the milk that had sell by date of 12th August is already off.I am not shopping at Iceland again.
Iceland Tandoori Chicken
Iceland Tandoori Chicken. Cooked in the Oven as specified on packet. Ended up with a tray of Crumbs ( possibly the chicken coating) Tiny pieces of actual chicken! With only a few larger pieces to actually make a dissapointing meal for One .
Appalling service
Appalling service, cancelled delivery without notice, takes over an hour on the phone, never written back despite saying so. Still awaiting letter, ignored emails since May.
Rotten food sent
Ordered delivery and part of what I received mouldy tomatoes in both sets of salad packs and what once was 2 cucumbers and what did customer service say when I called 10 minutes after delivery “send photos” so obviously don’t believe you when you complain. So I’m posting it here to make everyone aware that there are no checks on what goes out from stores. So be careful to check everything. I couldn’t add photos here or I would have.
