The car seats tightening strap used to fasten a child safely into the harness sheared off because the metal component it was fixed to was sharp. Thankfully this failed when tightening harness before setting off. Had there been an accident the strap failure would have meant that the harness would have failed which does not bear thinking about.
The companies response was totally unacceptable, they made no effort to open up a conversation, apologise or offer a refund (seat purchased Feb 24). This was a failure of a component, nothing to do with use of the seat. They refuse to refund or replace and do not answer their phone. This has now been reported the Trading Standards. We researched before purchase to ensure it met all safety standards.

I had a compost roller delivered from them. It arrived fast but the problem was when I went to return the roller 2 days later when it broke. The phone number goes straight to voicemail and the email address bounces back. It seems like there is no way to contact the company leaving me no choice but to go though seeing a refund via my credit card company.
