Excellent Customer Service Experience
I had an issue with a service I purchased through HSN.
After failing to get satisfaction from the service provider I contacted HSN for help and they immediately took care of the issue!
From the time of the sale by HSN the service provider was in direct contact with me. The quality of the product they returned to me was one star at best. They did not check their work for mistakes or quality and just processed and shipped back regardless.
I filed a complaint with them and had most of the items redone elsewhere.
I set up a cloud service to use to provide sample copies of the newly redone items for comparison to theirs for their review to support the complaint and provided a link to the files location.
Their response was that they could not issue a refund.
I replied to them again with my documentation and said they should be ashamed treating customers this way but they still denied providing any compensation.
Their response again was that they could not issue a refund.
They said they could give me a future credit.......WHY WOULD I EVER USE THEM AGAIN after that kind of treatment.

I ordered a single grill for less than $300. The following day, I get an email that it was cancelled. I chatted with a customer service rep 'Michelle' who couldn't answer why it was cancelled, but gave me a phone number to call for further information. I called to me answered by a security representative? who sounded like they I woke them up and were in a bathroom - hard to understand. They didn't greet me, they didn't apologize for the inconvenience; they actually sounded annoyed that I was asking why my order was cancelled. She put me on hold for 10 minutes only to come back on telling me it was Capital One's fault regarding my address, but 'this is what she can do for me' like she's doing me a favor. She was going to cancel the order so that I could try again on my own. Yippee. I told her this process is really inconvenient; I have high credit, have ordered countless times before and this has never happened. She started getting an attitude and tried to say what if someone stole my card... I get it. It's just waaaaay too much effort for a single purchase. Maybe I'm just worn out, but all of the competition in retail, I am amazed companies like this can stay in business with an attitude like I'm the luckiest person alive if they let me buy a product from them when I can purchase the same thing from Amazon with no effort and no hurdles.

I order online but I couldn’t help noticing the makeup that the host was wearing this morning when she presented the item 085-609. Wow and not a good wow. Doesn’t anyone ever tell a host when her makeup is awful. Pink over the eyes, more, more blush than necessary. HSN is really going down hill. I guess the move to PA hasn’t been positive. I feel like, as a woman, someone needs to tell you when your makeup looks like clown makeup.

Call customer service was told they don't know. Told call back in 4 days and if no delivery they will resend product. I said how long do they want to keep my money before they send it.

Hsn has more hits than misses in my opinion. It's my go to place for tall clothing. They also offer great deals for household items, which often has extra pieces included. The interest free easy pay options, variety of products, convenience and in depth presentations are worth it.

Order a craft scoring board on May 22 2025 as of today it has not shipped, (June 6 2025). When I check status it just say “packaging”. I called to cancel order but was told I couldn’t because it is in packaging status and that it might ship today.
My goodness 10 days to get an item ready to ship. Guess they only have one person picking orders.
Lousy customer service
Purchased a computer and phone set. The orders had the incorrect unit #. I corrected the unit # and called HSN twice while the packages were on the way. Both times I was told there was nothing they could do until the packages were delivered. I work for a company where we ship thousands of packages per day. If a member calls with this issue, we call UPS and make correction. HSN states it's not allowed. So, I purchased the items elsewhere. The packages were delivered, but not to me.

I bought a comforter back in February, I just started using it and washed in in my washer. It ripped apart in 3 places. When I called they said it was too late for them to do anything. I’ve bought several comforters from different companies and this has never happened. It was obviously a defect in manufacturing.

Worse Service
A long time ago I had purchases and did Flex pays but things happened where we went through Bankruptcy. It is like they hold grudges because they put my account on hold saying I need to pay those flex pays. I told them Bankruptcy should have taken care of that and I have no outstanding balances from them and I do not need to pay them since its already been settle. So, try to make purchases and they did not let me. Oh well there loss not mine I will just order directly from the website for the vitamins.

Struggled to find a comfortable well fitting bra. Purchased the Rhonda Shear lace, Gel Bra, put it on and I fell in love. Great fit, comfortable, just great. So happy, I ordered another one. 🙂
Hsn did me wrong
Hsn did me wrong. I called to order and gave my bank card number to pay. She asks if I want to apply for a hsn credit card for which apparently she didn’t get my address. She applied my charges to their cc instead of my bank card. They couldn’t reach me to bill me so they sold the bill to a recovery service. I tried explaining it was supposed to go on my bank card that I did not authorize it to go on a hsn credit card they would not listen to me and I had to pay over $100 more than the actual cost. They would not listen to my dispute. Be very careful.

Beware! I had no idea that HSN purposely does not tell a purchaser of an item that Cannot be Returned through HSN "print a label" and have the $8.00 amount deducted from the cost or the item at your cost before the purchase! Nor does HSN enlighten customer of that same item is really being sent from some vendor somewhere. So, if the item does not work, then You Lose! Furthermore, HSN could care less. When I inquired of HSN customer service about our return situation, she said it's up to you to return. When I asked why customers are not given a heads up during the airing or online as the item is being purchase, she transferred me to some loud, obnoxious, rude, condescending young person. Very nicely, I explained again and asked, again, why customers are not foretold when returns are to the vendor of an item, he smugly responded with: "I could ask the same of You.... why didn't You know? Right, dude, that's the question. Lost Another customer, not good for you. HSN and QVC advertisement scam
HSN and QVC are running the same SCAM/FRAUD advertisement for a 'low cost' power mobility chair. If you purchase this, you will get a fake receipt with a fake tracking number. You will NOT get your item and you will NOT get support. We had to do a charge back through our bank to get our money returned. If you do fall into this 'trap', notify the FTC. We did.

Recently purchased a Bissell AeroSlim Cordless handheld Vacuum which was defective. After, speaking with an HSN representative, I followed all the instructions for return using their prepaid label. Received a drop-off receipt from UPS. HSN still charged me because they said they never received the item and would not give me a refund back to my credit card. I am so furious and told them, that I will never shop with them again and their representatives Kathy and her manager Janise are absolutely useless. UPS store told me that it is up to HSN to put in a claim not me because it was a prepaid label. My credit card company took all the information and ended up giving me the credit. They do not even deserve the one star.

Returned a defective steam mop with their prepaid label that took me 3 months and 20 plus calls to get.
Took to UPS dropped off got a $40.00 credit for 1st payment and taxes looked at my credit card 2 months later still billing monthly payments?
Called customer service terrible service said don’t show they received? I saw I got credit for 1st billing through receipt away.
I asked if you didn’t receive why was credit issued said for my trouble refused to stop billing. Have 2 steam mop paid for 2 horrible company customer service is the worse.
