Absolutely shocking disgusting company to deal with !!! Logged a complaint over 6 weeks ago and they are “very busy “ to reply or resolve ! my mom has passed away so very upsetting time and they have been useless ,unkind, rude, and no two people in branch and on the phone have told me the same information-they have no idea what the hell they are doing!! Was going to open a new account but can’t wait to cancel account and never have to speak to this shit show ever again -and before you ask NO I don’t want to accept a crappy apology on here i want you to answer and respond to my complaint!!!!!

It’s the worst bank ever! They close accounts with no reason and without giving you explanations so you end up loosing all your data. applications on the phone never work so you will be frustrated and you will have to change bank

Excellent service from the HSBC team. They were friendly, prompt, and efficient in arranging our remortgage appointment and helping us secure a mortgage that suited our needs.
A special thank you to the staff member (whose name I unfortunately didn't catch) for arranging an appointment within three hours on a Saturday, just before our existing mortgage expired. We're also grateful to Gayathri Geetha, our mortgage advisor, for her professional advice and for finding the right mortgage deal for us.
Thank you to everyone involved for the excellent service.

I would laugh if it wasn't so stressful dealing with asinine replies from people paid to be helping.
Following on from my previous message below and the request from 'Social Media' I responded to social media @ hsbc as requested. Got a reply from J who passed me on to C.
C's reply clearly demonstrated that she hadn't actually read or understand the issue. I.e customer complaints refusing to respond to or correct a serious error in their records. Same thing happened 5 years ago and I had to request intervention form the Financial Ombudsman - who was useless. I was awarded £500 that time although I had suffered losses of over £6000 and a period of stress that prevented me from working.
Anyway inexplicably C referred my back to the HSBC 'complaints specialist' who was refusing to answer or investigate my serious complaint.
Totally callous, uncaring people, fully aware of the distress they are causing but not willing to assist.

I opened a Fixed ISA with a view to transfer-in a lesser performing ISA and then top-up my ISA.
In total, it took 30 working days to complete the process because of “the high demand” - in my opinion: poor Market Research, poor planning, insufficient staff numbers.
The process for me (and other HSBC Customers) was taking so long to complete that HSBC got their Premier Relationship Managers to call ISA customers to apologise for the long delays.
Will HSBC learn from this - No
Will HSBC repeat this ‘incompetence’ - Yes

My account manager (name withheld) does such a fantastic job. She keeps my accountant abreast of all and any developments. Super happy.

So, I write this review as an old fella 72 years young who struggles with online banking and all things techy...but is fortunate enough to have met a fabulous business manager at HSBC in Liverpool. I have dealt with Rebecca Jones the HSBC business manager on two occasions in the last 6 months & she has always demonstrated kindness, patience and great people skills ....and solved all my issues with a great big smile...Thanks so much Rebecca,,,,👍

Just when you think it couldnt get any worse.......
Opened an ISA in APRIL, but didnt show on the system, so opened another, then rang for assistance BUT the operator closed the one down
Transpired that was the "wrong one" and after numberous abortive attempts on the chat service ruining an entire weekend, eventually spoke to another operator who took my complaint and I was then obliged to call at the Branch and to take my transfer docs with me AND provide another signature as the original had apparently been lost!
The transfer window had also been missed at the advertised rate and so i had to open yet another account (the idea was to simplify my banking with all my ISAs together, sabotaged here and left with 2 isas both at different rates both maturing differently!)
Advised the transfer to my new isa would take several weeks.
Innumerable complaints submitted already, misrepresented by the complaints section and offered a paltry amount of compensation and complaints section not responding to my emails and nobody providing any information
TODAY after waiting since the start of July recieved an SMS stating briefly that because I had closed my ISA they have now cancelled my transfer request!
In fact BOTH my ISAs are still open, so this appears to be a breach of data protection with the bank holding incorrect information and using that-doesent anybody there talk to one another?
HSBC social media service previously advised that "because there is already a complaint in progress, they cannot help"
What a disgrace, yet more stress and even more delays now to try and resolve this.
Clearly no alternative but to approach the Ombudsman unless somebody from HSBC approaches me with a proposal to resolve this series of issues.
UPDATE
Emailed Jack as per invitation from online services; Tom replied and I provided a time to receive call which didn’t happen!
Next Claire made contact and we actually spoke. Although very personable, she had incomplete information and believed the complaint to have been resolved (!) and could only offer to raise another complaint (that’s 4 not actioned, one with the complaints team not responding to emails, so this is now no 6)
None of this has resolved anything since the sorry story began in April, decidedly underwhelmed…….

Tripat (Bank Executive)I have interacted with, she is such a collaborative employee been able to help me going extra mile in sorting out long pending issues. All issues sorted at a desk that's what I call enabling a good customer experience.
Thank you HSBC for keeping such as talent in the bank.

On 16 July, my friend and I visited the HSBC branch in Swindon town centre to ask about a few issues I was having. I had three questions in total, and Ms. Ankita Srivastava took the time to explain everything clearly and patiently. She was incredibly kind and made sure I fully understood each issue and how to resolve it.
We are truly grateful for her warmth, patience, and professionalism. She made what could have been a stressful experience feel easy and reassuring. Staff members like her are a real credit to your bank, and we sincerely appreciate the excellent service she provided

Khalida at Bishop Gate was so helpful when I needed help. I had just landed in London as I was relocating from Australia - she made the opening a bank account process so easy and stress free and was very knowledgeable about the products available! I can’t recommend this branch and Khalida enough!

Sadie listened, totally understood the issues about which I am concerned and came up with a number of useful options for consideration,
