We had met Amins Alhassan in HSBC Oxford, she is so patient and guided us step-by-step to finish the my money account for my daughter, after we finished with my daughter’s account. She helped me to finish the application of business account on line, it was so complicated and it took me a few days to search help in London branch. Everyone just told me they don’t support business account, told me to follow the online steps. If I knew how to do it, I would not come to you. But Amina she is so nice, just in 10 mins she helped me to solve out all the issues. Give 5 stars to Amina.
The best I’m happy with them service and everything

The one star is the application process to switch bank to HSBC was straightforward. No more stars can be given from my poor experience of misinformation, having wrong advice given, not dealing with my disability needs appropriately and taking ages to get through to a live person when needing to discuss issues; due to the inability of the AI agent being used not understanding a basic request and trying every way possible to avoid you being able to speak to a human being. When dealing with customer service agents from a bank you expect their mathematical skills to be spot on too but from my experience of an agent not knowing how many days across a a couple of months etc. does not inspire confidence in the ability of HSBC to provide a quality service. Customer complaints procedures are complicated and take far too long to get a final response (are they dealing with too many customer complaints I ask!). My overall experience tells me to recommend you to not join HSBC they can not provide a reliable customer experience when needing help both from a disability point of view and from a confidence point of view.
The following was added to my review in response to HSBC comment:
Appreciate your response to look into my comments but i have no confidence on HSBC procedures, confirmed by your customer complaints manager’s final assessment taking no account of my disability needs at all and focussing more on my issues with my lack of confidence in your customer service agents. So i will not seek any further communication with HSBC and will follow my own advice and move my account elsewhere.

I contacted HSBC about a deposit I paid for a machine advertised on ebay - which I was later informed by my bank, could be a scam.
The machine was not delivered and the seller has not delivered the item and does not respond to my emails; so it is a scam.
The HSBC agent was not interested in doing anything depite me giving him the (bogus) sellers name, account number, and sort code - which had been verified by their system whilst I was paying.
He then finished his sentence and immediately rang off before I could even reply or ask a question.
I am very annoyed by this completely don't care attitude, and maybe if the organisations that are supposed to protect our interests, rather than their own, were more helpful and diligent, there wouldn't be so much criminal behaviour.

Since I started my experience with you I am well pleased with your attitude and guidance towards me, meaning that I wholeheartedly trust you.
