Bought a Tuffhoze - after one season the connector couldn't hold any tools. Wrote to Hozelock and was asked for video and pictures which I sent them.
Was then directed from initial support to local, which did not want to do anything, but directed me to buy a new connector (of the same type - which failed after one season).
So I should buy new connectors for my hose every season?? I think not.
Won't buy their products again, and neither should you.

Awful service! Expandable hose leaked after 8 months! Contacted them & just fob you off!! Never will buy again.

Prouct designed to break and bad service: Wrote to them about a hoze timer which fits to the tap which helps to conserve water. It broke off simply by tightening the nut. I wrote to them asking for a replacement and they couldnt be bothered to reply. Looking at the break there is hardly anything holding it together. Clearly designed to break.

I replaced it with a more substantial design by Gudenaa, also made in Denmark. The sooner the UK gets back to manufacturing the better.

Bought a superhoze expandable to 40 m.
This i used for two weeks then it got a hole in the hoze. The shop gave me a new. The new one i used for 3 weeks. Then it got two holes!!! The shop asked me if i drag it over stones - no - but over at normal garden ground. It should be qualified for that - i guess thats why they make them!!
Now i will have to buy a rubber/plastic hoze. The last one i bought lasted for 6 years.
Angry and dissapointed? Absolutely!!

Awful products, had 2 very similar things from Hozelock in the past, which were both rubbish. I was waiting until summer to buy an ordinary -non-kinking- hosepipe, but unfortunately received this as a well-intended Christmas gift.
Fiddly to assemble, half an hour of my life I won’t get back, with cheap plastic fittings, limited instructions and typical hozelock-brand pathetic hosepipe: very stiff and unwieldly to wind in or out, plus kinks constantly, repeatedly interrupting the flow of water.
Do yourself a huge favour, whilst saving the £30 these cost and just buy a soft, non-kinking rubber hose from B&Q or Wickes.
That’s what I’m now going to have to do, as really not prepared to put up with yet more years of frustrating, poor performance from another one of this brand’s products.
