From start to finish we had a great experience. When I first spoke to Dorothy she explained the process and kept in touch. Kerrie was also extremely helpful, she called every week to see how things were progressing. Communication was excelent, friendly people and they made the whole experience as easy as it could have been. I woud recommend they to anyone who needs to sell their house quickly.

Well that was an easy, smooth and great experience ! From the first phone call through to the last I was treated with respect, kindness, understanding and empathy. At no point was there any hustle or pushing me into a decision, things were explained to me clearly and I was given space to make a decision. Suzanne and Kerrie were a joy to deal with throughout !

I had to sell my property quickly as my husband was coming home from a brain rehabilitation unit and we needed to move to an adapted property. Right from the start the communication with Suzanne and Kerrie was great. They responded to my queries, worries, they reassured me and the whole process took 8 weeks. The house was sold and I can honestly say they made the process as stress free as it could be. Everyone I dealt with, including the solicitors, we're professional, reassuring, guided me along the way. I had contacted a number of companies when researching the house buying company market and was recommended House Buyers Bureau through independent advice, I would say really do your research, there are some companies I would never recommend! So all in all I was very pleased and would highly recommend House Buyers Bureau for a stress free house sale.

The inability to read our initial contact message ensured a waste of time was encountered by us and them.

We notified what our Estate Agent valued the property at, and that after a few weeks we asked them to radically drop it in price by £45,000 as we needed to get a quick sale and that the revised value was the lowest we needed to allow us to buy the property we wanted
We were offered appx £45,000 less than we needed - totally ignoring our message, in addition working on the revised lower figure as advertised on Zoopla. This had all been explained to them.

Kerrie and Suzanne at homebuyers made the experience of selling my mum’s property after Lloyds the executors lost my mums will making an emotional time to grieve impossible very straightforward , kerrie and Suzanne were extremely understanding and were super efficient, keeping us in the loop throughout the selling process , my wife and I would recommend using homebuyers service in todays very difficult sellers market

We were contacted promptly by Dorothy from House Buyer Bureau after enquiring with My Homebuyers. Dorothy was professional and courteous but could only offer a very low amount for the property, which was too low for us to proceed. So whilst worth enquiring, it was a no go for us.

Despite this company not being able to help me on this occasion, being about 20K under my absolute minimum needs, I must applaud their profesionalisim, caring attitude and total openess. Dorothy was an absolute genuine agent to work with, being totally transparent throughout with compasion towards our needs.
A pity it didn't work out as I feel this is a real, genuine comany to work with.

I was in contact with Suzanne off and on for quite a few months until we were ready to sell and she was very open and honest from the start, and we were never put under any pressure at any time. I was initially dubious of using a house buying company but the pros and cons were explained to us clearly and honestly and once we were ready to sell we found the offer to be fair. Kerrie kept us updated at all stages, and called regularly to check in and make sure we were still happy and comfortable and it made what was a very emotional time so much easier. Selling this way won't be for everyone, but I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Suzanne and Kerrie to anyone.

Dorothy and Kerrie have been very professional and respectful towards our sensitive house sale, thank you. The end sale price was fair and understandable under the circumstances and we were very impressed with the efficiency and speed of the process. The solicitors we were provided worked well on our behalf. Would recommend HBB. My only slight issue was that I would suggest conducting the survey before suggesting a sale price, as this would make the process even less stressful as the price after this would not really change much. From our first contact both Suzanne & Dorothy were extremely professional and friendly and explained fully each stage of the process. We knew that the offer would be significantly lower than market value. However this was explained fully to us at the time. After a survey was completed there was a further reduction due to various items. We were given the chance at each stage of the process to withdraw with no fees to pay. Once we had accepted the
final offer we were then place under the guidance of Kerrie. She was great, again fully explained what was going on. We had approval to use our own solicitors as they where on HBB panel, we were offered a contribution towards their fees. Kerrie rang at least once a week to ensure we were ok and everything was going to plan. Our stressed phone calls were dealt with in a calm and reassuring manner, whatever Kerrie promised would be sorted, it was and we were updated. Kerrie did everything to ensure that we exchanged and completed on the dates required. The service is not for everyone, your offer is at a reduced value but if you want a quick reassuring process HBB are ideal and we would recommend them for these types of sales. We found Dorothy at HBB to be really courteous and explained the whole process clearly when I asked about it. We don’t progress further with the initial discussion as we were still working on trying to receive more for our property. We understand that the offers are typically lower than market rate as you have to understand the circumstances if you want a very quick sale with certainty. Definitely no issues with HBB though.

Very honest discussion. No false claims and very open about what price they would expect to offer. But, I still think it was fair for the current housing market.
As we are not desperate to sell we are not going to take up their offer.

Very open discussion with Dorothy which I felt was honest and helpful. So honest in fact that the Bureau business model did not
appear to be ideal for my value objective.
Having said that I would still look at it again if my other options do not work to my aims.
