This app is a total scam! They have false discounts. You book the so called deal. When you get to the hotel, the Hotel presents you with a "resort fee"or any other fee that was not states prior to booking and your $50 dollar stay is in Fact $300. If you decline staying in the hotel they will steal your money because they say it"s non refundable and that you cannot cancel. RUN FROM THIS SITE. THEY ARE CHINESE!

Booked and paid for 2 nights although they only confirmed ONE with the hotel. Scam. Takes 7-10 business days for the claim to be reviewed and money to be put back on my card. THIS IS UNLAWFUL and I will never book with them again.

Used to love it, but today they messed up badly. Did a successful booking but there was no room available in the hotel. So I called hotel tonight and the overbooking was confirmed. The agent asked if I want a refund or a voucher. After one hour driving out of town we get a call from them telling us the booking was eventually successful and that we won't get a refund. Very disappointing and therefore never again! I'll stick to my booking account from now on as they are reliable

I just placed a reservation and they will not credit my account back... this is unbelievable even a hotel will credit you back within 24 hours.. i am calling 5 days in advance.

DO NOT EVER book hotels with HotelTonight website - they have no empathy for your suffering whatsoever!!! I had to cut my trip short to drive back to Florida from NY for a family emergency of a loved one in ER dying. I begged them to refund my $$ or at least a “credit” and they said NO! I begged crying and telling them I had proof of emergency and they did not care!!! Please don’t use them ever!!!!

I booked my room with Doubletree Hilton. I reserved a room through Hoteltonight over 3 hrs ahead. When I got to the hotel rhey informed me that they never recieved a confirmation email from this business. Their was an of customer their waiting for her room with the same issue with Hoteltonight. I had to wait over 2 hrs to finally get my room. Hoteltonight is absolute trash!!!! I didn't get my room until midnight!!! Mind you I have to checkout at 5am. The worst hotel booking site EVER!!!!!

Hotel tonight sold 2 night stay at a Hotel.

The details of the hotel given on their website are a flat out lie to get you to buy a NON REFUNDABLE night.

The hotel when arrived was was under massive construction , front lobby portion torn out, no continental breakfast, rooms dirty, smelled of urine and smoke, no housekeeping.

Multiple Emails to Hotel Tonight did not result in a resolution.

Once you book you say goodbye to your money.

This company is trash. Their app kept crashing on me while booking, and I couldn’t log in again, so I booked elsewhere. Fast forward 2 weeks and my credit card is charged for a hotel that I didn’t even know had booked.

After AN HOUR on the phone with customer service, they tell me they can’t refund. This company is a scam. BEWARE! I am a very frequent traveler and I will never never never use this app again. Go use booking.com instead, they are a legit company who know what customer service is.

Beware beware beware ! Horrible company, scamming at its finest. Not only are additional fees added at the end of the booking which pretty much defeats the purpose of using them, their non refundable policy they stand on 100% and that alone is absurd. Situations occur and they could at least honor a 1 time exeption but they will not! Absolutely beware of this company, after my last booking which I was a long time user and felt that some type of loyalty reward would be given. They would not honor my refund after I advised them I simply needed to switch the hotel and was willing to rebook with a different location thru them. I spent an hour trying my best to get them to do a one time exeption and the supervisor pretty much told me absolutely not. I will never book thru them and I will never recommend them to anyone!

DO NOT book through hoteltonight! If anything goes wrong, they'll tell you don't give refunds in order to keep their prices low. BUT their prices aren't any better than booking through the hotel directly. So there is no benefit in using them. I used them to book a hotel several weeks in advance. My husband had to have emergency surgery and I had to cancel my reservations. I was asked to send personal papers to prove this but was told they don't give refunds in order to keep their prices low. Since I gave at least 24 hours notice, had I booked directly through the hotel, they would have refunded my money. Had I checked the price before I booked through HT, I would have realized the price was the same!

If I could give this place zero stars I would absolutely do that. I had a terrible experience at the hotel that I booked I called them immediately and let them know what was going on. I even left the hotel early because of how bad the hotel was. They work with a lot of crappy hotels. Since this experience I have had no resolution or answers to my problems, I called them every single day regarding the issue and so far they have told me the same thing please be patient sir it’s a process, or they say something along the lines of let me talk to my team support can I call you back? They have never once called me back or giving me any kind of update. I found stains all over my sheets and blankets along with the walls and door frames my hotel was extremely dirty and These are the kind of people that hotel tonight do business with. I do not recommend hotels tonight at all, they are a scam and a rip off. If you were looking to spend money and get a terrible experience this is the place for you.

booked a Saint Pete’s beach hotel through hotels.com. I have only had great experiences through this app. They have not led me wrong. But this hotel I booked in Saint Petersburg was the worst! Outdated and not worth the money or the resort fee. I have talked to Mae with hotels tonight.com on the phone at least four times tonight and she’s being so diligent in advocating for me. I hope to get resolution by tomorrow afternoon. A refund would be great. We checked in at 4:30 and we checked out at 6 PM…. The same day !!! I don’t even know what took me so long to decide to leave after two hours. The add for Sirata Beach resort in Saint Pete’s on the hotelstonight.com has very nice pictures and advertises nice accommodations but in real life it’s terrible. Hotels tonight really let me down. I can’t even believe they would promote such an economy hotel on their website. In the past they have led me to great upscale hotels. Very disappointing this time.

I booked a 1 night stay in Pensacola FL on June 9th 2021 at a Quality Inn. Cheap rate and I needed a place to sleep on my drive from Florida to California. I pulled up to the hotel and saw that 80% of the rooms were occupied with people that have been misplaced during the pandemic. Rooms had personal belongings overflowing out into the corridors and the parking lot. The hotel looked more like a camp than a hotel. Safety was definitely an issue.
It's wonderful that hotels are providing shelter for those in need but before booking a stay, you should be given these facts through the booking company. I tried to contact Hotel Tonight but there was more than a 2hr wait to speak with someone. I ended up driving further to Mobile AL and not using my booking through Hotel Tonight. Upon my return to California I contacted Hotel Tonight and they offered me a $25 voucher to use with them on a future booking. Definitely a joke after I paid them $125 for a service I could not use.
Horrible customer service. Horrible business. Greed is all they have. Do yourself a favor and book with another company that will value your loyalty.

I was looking for a hotel on their app for this friday, but the app refreshed to today’s date. I ended up booking a $150 hotel room I wasn’t going to use. I contacted them as soon as I saw the date on the final screen and sent them an email asking if I could change it. This was around 2pm today. They didn’t respond until 9pm saying that, “You can’t cancel and you can’t change the date, but if you know of a friend or colleague who can use the room tonight, let us know and we will change the name on the reservation.” SO WE CAN’T EVER MAKE ANY BOOKING MISTAKES?! They need to have some allowance in their policies for accidental bookings!

Fraudulent website. Book a hotel and they send you a non-refundable confirmation for as lessor hotel. STAY AWAY!

This company shall be named NIGHTMARE TONIGHT. I will give it negative stars if i could. I booked a hotel through its app. Reservation was confirmed and credit card charged, and when I contacted the hotel, they told me they have no rooms. The hotel offered to relocate us to a much cheaper and shittier hotel. We rejected the offer and reported to HotelTonight. Lilian, their customer support claimed that they would follow up and then just disappeared and no respond ever. Such a scam, putting fake deals online, steal your money and disappear!

It’s true, their rates aren’t any better than any other 3rd party app but since it was the same price we had seen, we booked through them. When we arrived at our hotel they had not made our reservation and we were informed by the front desk staff that HotelTonight is the ONLY company that faxes in the reservation details. All the other companies like Priceline and Hotels.com have the reservation automatically uploaded to the hotel’s system. Apparently they forgot to fax our reservation to the hotel so we spent an hour in the lobby correcting their mistake (and missed our dinner reservation) that only happened because their business is apparently not setup appropriately to do business.

If I could give zero stars, I would.
Booked a suite at Marriott with two beds. The room only had 1 bed. Because I booked through Hotel Tonight, I had to contact them with a complaint. Try getting someone to respond from that scam of company. No response to email from their “24/7” support team!!!!!!!

This is the work place to Book your hotel. I booked a hotel using this app May 1, 2021. The hotel room was dirty and the manager was not able to clean them room and no other room was available. I had to book another room using this app. The hotel is issued my deposit back, but HotelTonight refused to issue my refund, and stilled charged me for the room. Please don't use this service. They are thieves and their customer service is horrible. If I had the time I would have sued them.
