We used their cheap sign up package…
We used their cheap sign up package twice with a different email address. Towards 2/3rds of the second time period we received very aggressive and intrusive messages telling us that our websites were using too many resources. Instead of explaining how to reduce the resources they over and over again tried to upsell us to an expensive hosting package. It was very a unpleasant almost nasty experience trying to reason with them at that point. We had to abandon the service before it expired and move to another more friendly host.

Cherry rocks!
I'm in the process of moving my webhosting service from a different company to HostPapa. While everyone that has helped me in chat was polite and helpful enough, it was Cherry that really stood out for me. This is because Cherry is the only person that actually typed my name when they said hello, not just "hey there". Then Cherry went on to solve my issue in very little time.
After all, before I can chat with a HostPapa representative, I am required to enter my credentials. Cherry is the only one that made me feel like just a number, and more like a valued customer. Thanks again, Cherry.
It is really a not good host option, bluehost is much better
It is really a bad host, after my service end, I am not going to use this one after the term or even before the term finish , every single service we need to pay extra. It is showing price as 0 in the recommended service, then i did not cancel it . then send me a $47 bill. Customer service just told me it is not accurate, but that's where I should choose my service, how that one can be not accurate

Slow email. No valve in service.
I was with HostPapa for about three years and had a website hosting plan with them. When I added a new domain, I had to pay extra for a separate email plan, since they only allowed one domain per account. They also introduced a 500 MB cap on my email hosting.
I ended up switching to WHC, and it’s been a much better deal—significantly cheaper and I can host multiple domains without the extra hassle.
One thing I didn’t expect was how much faster my emails would be. I used to think delays—especially for verification emails—were normal, but now they come in almost instantly.

UNKNOWN CREDIT CARD CHARGE
Well so far I'm not impressed!
I had a charge on my credit card and I sent THREE emails to the individual I was speaking with who was trouble shooting and trying to fix some bugs. His name was Houssem but goes by Sam. So unprofessional and never responded. So I highly recommend you do NOT keep your credit on file. I was not advised of a charge and I'm waiting for the charge to be reversed. AND IT BETTER BE!
