I am being billed for an account I cancelled. And to resolve I spend 45 minutes with an agent, multiple times. All they can say is they can’t find my account. Yet I continue to be billed on my credit card, they show they sent me an email regarding automatic renewal, but what they don’t show is the email obviously was kicked back to them since I haven’t had said email for over 8 years.

HostMonster Support Really Comes Through!
I have been a HostMonster customer for well over a decade now and I have gotten several of my clients to also sign up with HostMonster for the web hosting needs. Yesterday, I had received a very unwelcome surprise. I needed to renew my VPS Hosting service and wanted to also upgrade it from 60 GB of storage to 120 GB. When I went to the website to upgrade and renew, I was shown a price of $119.99 per month. This was fine so I went ahead and did it. Fortunately, I took a screenshot showing the price because after the upgrade, I was shown a monthly price of $143.99. I called in and Christina was able to fix everything. I truly felt that she was on my side. I forwarded the save screenshot showing the price and she was able to get me the price I had agreed to pay.

I am writing to express my deep concern and frustration regarding a serious security breach that has resulted in the lockout of my HostMonster account. Despite multiple attempts to verify my identity through email verification and Name Tag application, I have been unable to regain access to my account.
I believe this issue stems from a fundamental security lapse on HostMonster's part, which has allowed unauthorized access to my account and potentially compromised sensitive information. The lack of robust security measures has left my account vulnerable to fraudulent activities.
I have been in contact with HostMonster's support team for nearly two weeks, but their efforts to resolve the issue have been unsuccessful. The repeated requests for verification and the subsequent failures to recognize my identity are incredibly frustrating and time-consuming.

Fraudulent website??
I never signed up to HostMonster and they took a subscription fee from my credit card on Monday. My bank put my card on hold as a result because they considered host monster to be fraudulent…. Which it is , i’ve no idea how they got my card details
Spam and incompetent hosting
Hostmonster is the most incompetent wev hosting service. I've been using them since 2003 and they were great and are now utter garbage. They allow spam to flurish unchecked on their email servers getting your domain blocked and Spamhaus not allowing any emails to be sent. Trying to deal with customer service to get it fixed is like talking to a door. Their offshore customers support is useless and lie to you and never get back to you about the issue resolution. They are a dumpster of a company stay away. Bluehost is the same company too.

HostMonster and Bluehost: A Nightmare of Incompetence and Theft
I cannot believe the sheer audacity of HostMonster and Bluehost. These companies are absolute disasters. My hosting account has been a nonstop nightmare, with servers hacked on a weekly basis. It's like they're running a charity for hackers!
To add insult to injury, someone managed to access my panel and purchase a whopping 25 domains without my authorization. Despite having two-factor authentication set up, their security is about as effective as a paperclip. When I finally realized the mess, I contacted support and was met with a shocking level of incompetence.
It took them over a week to even acknowledge the problem, let alone start to fix it. When I demanded a concrete timeline, the support rep abruptly ended the chat. I tried to escalate the issue to a manager, but they seemed to have vanished into thin air.
HostMonster and Bluehost are a disgrace to the hosting industry. Their servers are a breeding ground for hackers, their security is a joke, and their customer support is non-existent. I strongly advise anyone considering these companies to run as fast as possible in the opposite direction. You've been warned!
TL;DR: HostMonster and Bluehost are terrible. Servers get hacked constantly, security is a joke, support is useless, and they stole my money. Avoid at all costs!
