The plants very very dry when they arrived. We have ordered from you before but were dissatisfied this time.

Poor quality plants. To be fair, HG gave me a discount on some but it doesn’t compensate for much. I would prefer healthy plants. Hopes Grove were on my good list but I wouldn’t buy again after my recent orders. Some plants dead, others weak and others very undeveloped.

This was a second batch of laurels I had ordered over a two week period the first were from another company slightly less money but in great condition on arrival. I tried to reorder but they had sold out. I then saw hopes grove were doing a similar product but cost was slightly more. I was disappointed when they arrived as the leaves were very broken and some yellow..almost like they had just been left lying around for a while before posting...I site was easy to use but quality was an issue..

Prompt service with the order and delivery and of course the plants were well packed and much bigger than I expected.All in the ground just waiting for some good rain(only 1mm in last 8 weeks)so still watering.

Plants were delivered as communicated. A few showed signs of stress on arrival, but when I reached out via email, the team was professional and reassuring. They confirmed that if any plants fail, they’re covered by a one-year guarantee.

Bare root Hawthorn hedging arrived in perfect condition and are doing well

The plants arrived within time scale, all boxed and packaged well. There were 40 beech hedge plants and all survived and are now in leaf and health.

Fast delivery and when the privets turned up they looked alive and healthy unlike myself. Would definitely buy again fron hopes.

Delivery very slow, plants not great compared to others purchased. These are multi stemmed and very weak/floppy. Purchases from other nurseries of same plant are single stemmed, self supporting and how I expected them to look like. May replace the ones purchased from Hope!

Ordered 50 plants which were delivered within the projected time. I have 'potted on' the plants to offer them the best opportunity of developing. There were very few roots on the trees and some of the plants were in a very weakened condition.

I ordered 20 bare root cherry laurels at a size of 2 to 3 feet tall. They were delivered in good time within a week. I saw that 19 of them were closer to 2 feet tall, and 1 was just over a foot tall and was dried up. I carefully planted them with compost / bone meal and have kept them watered. Unfortunately the foot tall one continued to dry out and shed all its leaves and now looks dead. The others seem to be coping better so I’m hoping they’ll survive.

Ordered 50 x lonicera hedging plants, plus some Vinca and a viburnham shrub. Very happy with the plants I was sent: They are top quality - strong, healthy plants, each of the hedging plants have a huge developed root system, and the other items are also a really good size, the plants aren't a tiny young one in a big pot, the viburnham is a big and strong plant, likewise the vincas.

Helpful and efficient customer service, took my order over the phone as there was a glitch with their website the day I tried to order online.

I ordered a second batch of a further 85 x lonicera hedging plants - and these were the exact same top quality.

The packing was superb, plants carefully laid on their sides in 4x big boxes, all packed out with jute sacks and black liner plastic. Fantastic. Best mail order plants I've received from any supplier, and exceeded my expectations.

The plants - Osmanthus, photinia, prunus - were in excellent condition, really nice quality and well packed so I was pleased and they are doing well now planted. All interactions were positive. Would happily use Hopes going forward.
