I don’t recommend it

I don’t recommend it , my washing machine broke in three years time and this is second one from hoover , when called them for parts replacement for free they dont give if i dont book an engineering job and that it will cost a lot so better to buy new washing machine but not from hoover anymore, two washing machine in 5 year broke !

I will NEVER buy another product from…

I will NEVER buy another product from Hoover due to POOR customer support.
After finally receiving emails back from customer service and thinking we came to a resolution, they've ghosted me. No response from support whatsoever. Carpet cleaning system is still leaking and basically worthless.

I have brought a fridge freezer from this company. I need a spare part. The operator asked for a cabinet number on the fridge by email. We have checked the fridge for a panel number it does not have one. Thus, we can not order any spare parts. The system needs to be reviewed for customers that have not been given a cabinet number.

Poor Customer Service

The template to fit door to an integrated washer dryer was missing. Rather than simply provide me with the dimensions or a template, Hoover customer services seemed to regard this as an opportunity to capture data about me. I gave up and decided to work out how to do it myself. Thanks Hoover!

Customer service hell

Had a problem with a fridge they sent out a repair man a month after the complaint it wasn’t repaired properly tried to explain it to their customer service representative and they were the worse to deal with. Disconnecting the conversations and providing no help. Never buying a hoover product again would advise anyone to stay away from them.

So I emailed Hoover Friday never heard from any one almost a week later I call and held my spot in line to remind you I called at 11:30 never got call back till 4:30. Nancy was the one who called who was absolutely awful no help and acted like she is unstoppable and can treat customers how they want. Then wants me to pay to take it somewhere like no you can this is the third producted that has failed and two were vacuum's which burnt my carpets. If any one needs good working stuff and good customer service for things go to shark or bissell.

Hoover Allergy + vacuum cleaner - Hoover service disgusting!

My wife purchased the Hoover Allergy + in Jan 2024 from Godfreys before they went into liquidation. Ever since we purchased it, it kept getting stuck with the sucking and making strange sounds. The New Plymouth shop then went out of business and that was when the nightmare started. Godreys would not give us the receipt (we could show when it was purchased) as they did not care and Hoover did not want to know about the problem. After many emails and phone calls we have given up. The expensive vacuum cleaner is useless and we cannot use it Hoover don't want to know about the issues or to try and find a resolution. We have now purchased a Miele which is going well. I will strongly recommend you do not buy a Hoover and they are absolutely useless with their aftercare and their customer support team is shocking. Disappointing and for a big company they obviously don't care after a sale is made! A complete waste of hundreds of dollars!

Worst product I’ve ever bought

I ordered the hoover pet cordless vacuum in March 2023. It has only lasted me just over a year before it broke. Worst product and company I’ve ever had to deal with. I contacted Hoover to advise them that my hoover had broke to be then told that it was out of warranty, which is fair enough but was then passed around given different email addresses to contact and advised to contact the manufacturer??? Which I thought I had done, given that I had emailed hoover and had bought it from them directly? In the end I gave up trying to get some support. Seriously regret buying this, what a complete waste of money just for it to only work for a year. I’ve just now ordered a shark, which seems like it’s got better reviews and more value for money.

Broke down after 18 months flooded place. Hoover wanted £200 to come and look at it.
They sold me their insurance. Insurers can't come for 2 weeks. Hoover could not care less. Don't answer formal complaints. Indian call centre very rude. Don't buy Hoover

Do not purchase

Do not purchase. Shocking customer service, quality of products very poor. Do not be fooled by Hoover team responding to complains on here as they continue to have appauling customer service and do not deal with complaints.
Hoover should be embarrassed.

Poor quality

Poor quality. DO not stand behind their product. Do NOT BUY. Re warranty is a joke. Warranty is only good if you BUY direct from hoover. Used Hoover Spotless only twice and broke down. Made in cheap chine. Sad older Hoover's would last and last. New one's today are throw away pieces of plastic.

Lousy customer service

Note that I am reviewing the company and their customer service practices as opposed to a particular product.
A plastic part on my out of warranty hoover vacuum broke, unfortunately a part that held on a wheel. I couldn't find a part, turned to Hoover directly and it all went downhill fast. Getting through to a human is nearly impossible! I spent an hour waiting on "chat" for the person who would be there "in a few minutes" before giving up. After a few days, and finally getting a chat human, I ended up requesting a supervisor. I was told they would get back to me in 48 hours. A week later I tried again. Same looooong difficulty getting a human. I finally left a call back request. I won't bore you with all the attempts to (a) get through and (b) get a promised response. Hoover's best offer was a 15% off a new model - at the same time they offered 20% off online and Amazon offered cheaper than that. After ordering through Amazon and finally hearing from a Hoover human, I asked that they provide me a second battery. They old vacuum came with 2; the new vacuum with just one. This time they did get back to me - to say they could offer me 15% off a new model, nothing else. I'm not happy with the result, but I'm more disappointed in how this was handled. They repeated "we'll get back to you," and having it not happen was very disheartening. What was a great old company has gone to pot. So sad.

I bought the streamline hard floor wet dry vacuum and 3 months later it is not working. Very hard to contact customer service,WAS ON THE PHONE FOR 20 MIN ASKING ME ALL MY PERSONAL DETAILS and here i am 5 days later they said we will be in touch. No returns and no answer. NEVER AGAIN BUYING A HOOVER!!!!

Hoover, don’t do it to yourself

Purchased a Hoover tumble dryer from John Lewis. The machine was sold with a 10 year parts guarantee, so when the machine broke just after 3 years (which isn’t long for a something that cost nearly £500) I phoned the repair line, went through the questions with the advisor and was told it needed a new motor. I was told I’d have to pay £160 to get an engineer to come and fix it, oh and if that wasn’t the only problem I’d have to pay another £160 for the issue even if it part of the same call out. I will never purchase a hoover product again.

I would never buy another Hoover…

I would never buy another Hoover product either. Bissell is the way to go. Hoover makes a hard floor scrubber that I have had replaced four times in the last year same problem with every single one of them. The cover on the top does not stay on and it will not run if the covers not on correctly I want this $400 item

Avoid like the plague horrible company horrible experiences will never buy again

I don't have time to really go into this so I'm going to keep it short and sweet I bought a Hoover clean slate pet carpet and upholstery spot cleaner I used it once I went to use it a second time and it didn't work when looking online I found out this is a very common issue I attempted to do the recommended fix of clearing the line of any air bubbles this didn't work I tried for hours and even made multiple attempts I contacted Hoover support and they never answer their phone you just get hung up on after being on hold for a while they say press one to call you back I tried that it didn't work for me maybe it'll work for you and not sure anyone would call you back anyways and nobody answered in their chat support either so I will never in my life buy another Hoover product nor will I let anybody that I know buy a Hoover product because they're a terrible company they don't have a good products and they don't offer any kind of customer support.

If I could I would give this company no stars.

Update on my review of first of May

Would never buy a Hoover products again they don't honor the 10 years parts guarantee had a lot of trouble in the end had to bin my 4-year-old tumble dryer that looks like but needed a new part , and hoover said we have not got the part so we are voided my10 year guarantee. Offered me £30 off a new similar tumble dryer .I could buy online myself One of the worst experiences I've had and I would never buy a Hoover product. Please look up reviews that Hoover have most of them are very poor reviews. Poor customer services and resolutions is useless.

I bought a washing machine (Hoover H-Wash 700) in March 2024. Since the purchase, I have contacted the technical service 10 times because it does not work and on June 1st (it's been 3 months) and I don't still no troubleshooting!

They really are scammers!
