They protect sellers that ship low quality counterfeit goods
Hood.de allowed counterfeit products to be sold on their platform and protected the sellers even after being notified. We provided clear proof that the items were fake (incorrect tags, manipulated barcodes, poor quality, illegal shipping origin), yet Hood refused to act.
Instead of taking responsibility, Hood intentionally delayed the process: they asked us to wait for the sellers, extended deadlines twice, and continued sending generic replies until the PayPal dispute window expired. As a result, we could no longer open a PayPal case for multiple counterfeit orders.
This was not an accident — Hood’s handling clearly favored the sellers and left us without buyer protection. Extremely unprofessional behaviour for a marketplace that claims to ensure safe trading.

The website's account settings…
The website's account settings currently reflect an outdated address as the default, despite my having updated both the delivery and billing addresses. Consequently, an order was shipped to the old address and subsequently returned. While I received a refund and reordered the phone from an alternative website, this issue resulted in a less-than-optimal customer experience. The seller's responsiveness was commendable. The website's functionality, however, warrants a reduction of one star in the overall rating.
