I purchased a rope plus a few other bits, I heard nothing back for a week so I contacted them only to then be told the rope wasn’t actually in stock, they eventually changed my order and shipped it out without providing all the invoice so customs put it on home for a week. I wouldn’t recommend if you’re relying on equipment for work.

I purchased Felco Loppers, ordering on the phone as my order was not going through on the website. I spoke to Tom who was very friendly and helpful. My order was delivered the next day by DPD. My experience was far better than the Trustpilot rating suggests, currently 3 1/2 stars. I suspect that this is because Honey Bros don't press for a review.

The staff were knowledgeable and helped me out with my purchases. It is really hard to work out how much you are spending as there are no prices on their products and you cannot see what you are being billed for until you have paid. I did not check my receipt until I got home and could see that I had been over billed by approximately £350. The company did agree to return the money but at no point said sorry for their error. Disappointing for such an industry leader.

Poor customer service
I contacted this company for advice and guidance regarding purchasing tree climbing equipment. My emails for advice were ignored, they do not support people who are entering the industry.
Could do better!
On the positive side, the order content was as expected and the company clearly has a good amount of available stock from reputable brands.
On the negative side, the customer experience was mediocre at best. I did not receive a confirmation email. I then had to chase for a delivery date, eventually arriving one week after being ordered. I also had to request a receipt/invoice as it was not included with the delivery. On both occasions speaking to customer services team, I did not feel like a cherished customer, more an inconvenience.
I dare say I may look elsewhere next time.
First Class Service, Expert Advice
Dropped by the Godalming Store today looking for expert advice on climbing gear. Didn’t disappoint, what a difference the staff make. It’s a real differentiator when the staff understand what your looking for and can recommend the best solution to cleanly integrate with your existing kit. Huge thanks to Woody and the team!
Good online experience
I bought a Stihl lawnmower online. The price I paid was the best I could see - by far. I was a bit concerned by the reviews here, but communications were good, delivery was quick and everything was as it should be.
I was after 2 things the Husqvarna XP…
I was after 2 things the Husqvarna XP Power 2 fuel mix and Husqvarna X-cut SP33G ....... chain for my chainsaw. I have used them before 2 years ago when I bought my leafblower and they were fine. I phoned to see if they had the fuel as it was not on their website. It turns out they don't deliver that as it is fuel so don't mention it on their website. I said I was after the chain as well and said the 9 in stock is at their warehouse and the guy said not a problem I will get a couple in for this afternoon. That's fine I said I would be there the next day, in any case he said we can make one up if not off a reel.
So turn up and no chain in the shop. So I give the guy all the details and he offers me a Oregon chain and says it's cheaper than Husqvarna anyway. Go back to my car and notice he has given me a Procut chain, have a quick look on my phone and notice this is for professionals and is not and anti kick chain. I am only a DIY'er, but he never asked the question. I take it back and speak to another guy and then I discover that he gave me the wrong width chain despite having shown all the details written down of exactly what I wanted. The guy says not a problem I can change this and make one up for you. Great I thought so he does that. after a short while he gives me the chain all sorted. I just go to leave and thought I would ask any change in price as this is not a professional chain and he then says oh yes let me look oh it's £2 cheaper and then gives me the £2 back. I then get back home and look on their website and find out the Husqvarna is £21.41 and I ended up paying £29.45 (including the £2 refund) despite being told it was cheaper. They know which chains are cheaper I'm sure, so not happy.
The whole time I just felt that they could not be bothered as the items I was buying was too small and they did not have the time despite only one other person being in the shop. It was just a catalogue of errors by them one after the other and as I don't live near them I don't think I will be using them again I will find another shop now.
A1 customer service at Honey brothers
First time shopping at Honey brothers from Australia, it was a pleasant experience, the website was a breeze to use and when I had a question about a product it was explained very well by email and when I had a phone call with them they wore just as I expected, excellent customer service from the whole team, kudos to Sophie Found.
Top company!
First time buyer here!, wish I found this company a lot sooner! Prices are very reasonable! They were the only place I could find with a Sthil Br700 in stock & they managed to get it to me within 48hrs of ordering! Will most definitely be a returning customer!

Good company
Ordered a few climbing bits from honey bros in past. Prices were good and delivery was fairly quick and packaged well. Good stall set up at the apf with a free beer aswell. Would recommend.
Rip off merchants
I purchased a Stihl leaf blower from them at the 2018 RHS Hampton Court Flower Show.
The product was on sale at the show for £330 and the owner made out that if I bought it there and then he would get my 25% off (£240).
I thought (without researching the market value of the product) that this was an incredible deal (and he may it out to be).
It turns out that this wasn't even as cheap as the product was being sold on Honey Brothers' own website (£220).
Completely untrustworthy and I feel let down by the whole experience.
If they want to compensate me, I will consider editing this review
