Took 3 weeks to sort out how to return the item which was poor quality

Love Homebase. Going to miss it. Staff doing such a good job, in tough circumstances, dealing with awful rudeness from some customers. I wish them all well finding future employment.
Personally gutted Homebase is going.

Collection was quick and simple but the staff didn't even acknowledge my existence other than "what are the last 3 numbers?". Actually made me feel rubbish with their complete lack of attentiveness.

Lovely friendly staff as always. One of the items I had ordered was out of stock. It was only an incidental but I still had a curtesy phone call advising and saying they would refund when I collected my order.

Ordered arrived safely and exactly as described.
Only Problem- Glad we were in as it arrived early am instead of middled too late PM.
Still, All in all a good experience,

We went instore to look for the item we wanted, and after we got to a operative that knew what they were talking about, he was very very helpful and advised to order on line as we would get further money off. (Which we did), the item came exactly at the time they said and was very very helpful

Ordered garden mirror, was not bubble wrapped (why?) didn’t have fragile on it just in black delivery bag. So of course it broke! Had that one collected another to be delivered but no delivery yodel saying I refused it! Lies all lies!! Got on to them now I have to wait to see if the missing mirror turns up or I won’t get a refund ..lovely

Had to use click and collect in store as advert for discount on email not available in the store..
Stupidity at it's best

I asked if someone could help to put the decking into the car. The person on the till asked someone who clearly didn’t want to help. I told him not to bother. Disabled driver will never buy from there again. Poor service.

The attitude of a male member of staff left me wanting to walk out the store, he needs training in customer service.
Shame I didn't get his name.

Notified of item not found in inventory by phone. Collected other item with speed and efficiency. Great service

The two people that served me couldn’t be any more helpful and made sure I could leave with my items despite a couple of hurdles.

Please pass on my heartfelt gratitude for them going out of their way to make things work.
