I was struggling to find an unknown paint colour to make good a patch repair in my lounge ceiling.
Sheila from the paint section came to my rescue and determined the correct paint colour from store paint charts within a couple of minutes just using her eyes and experience. Great service

Paula at the checkout was very nice and helpful and pointed out some savings/deals I was unaware of. Thank you for that!

I bought 3 bags of bark chippings on line. When I collected them I asked for a VAT receipt but was told it would come on line. When it did not appear I had to go back to the store to ask for a receipt. This time I was told that they do not issue receipts on line and the only way to get one was to refund my money and buy them again in store. What a performance!!! On checking my bank account, I find that 2 payments have been taken from my account, but NO REFUND. WHY? What a complete and utter shambles! GET YOUR ACT TOGETHER HOMEBASE.

I was looking for garden grow bed to try if it gives better results.

No instructions to go to desk. Staff were unhelpful and treated me as though I was almost stupid. They assume everyone should know what to do. They were unfriendly.

You reply when I put this up on Trust Pilot BUT I did email you direct nearly 2 weeks ago and I still have NOT received a reply !
I recently visited the Leamington store to purchase a 5L tin of Cuprinol Ducks back forest green on offer at a discounted price.
There was no forest green on display/available so I selected a lighter green color Delicate Pine and having enquired ref the forest green "not on display not part of the special price". I took the lighter color.
When i started to apply it on our "summer house" which had been previously painted the forest green it was obviously a different color as shown on tin. So I only painted a limited area with two coats thinking/ hoping it would dry a different color.
It didn't.

So i returned to Homebase with photo evidence.

I was told "if you had asked me, I would have told you that it is a totally different lighter color as shown on the front of the tin!"

I then asked for a tin of the color i originally wanted and said this other tin is of no use to me and i dont expect to pay for the replacement.
The reply was "the opened tin is of no use to us you have to pay full price for the other tin"
So i left and without the new tin and took the old one with me.
I then contacted Cuprinol and I explained what had happened including Homebases “solution” , I was asked for the code number on the tin and the color.
The following day Cuprinlol told me a voucher was in the post for a replacement tin and they did not require the other tin to be returned.
I now have the 5L tin of the forest green that i wanted and it looks great.

Got home to find the wrong
Colour paint had been “picked” (4 sample pots ordered)
