Holland pies have changed for the worse, just had a meat and potato and the pastry was terrible, it was almost burnt and very thick, I’ve never seen that in all the years, I’m done with them.

Meat pies
Meat pies, potato and meat pies, steak pies all from farm foods.
I’m 68 years old and have eaten Holland’s for donkeys years. The pies are nothing like they used to be, no juice, weird pastry, filling is a mushy mess what’s there. Go back to the old recipes and sizes and charge us the appropriate prices for a quality product you used to serve up.

OMG JUST MICROWAVE THEIR STEAK PIE, I noticed straight away the middle going flat! The bloody pie was Empty, just tainted around the sides with brown gravy looking stuff, Absolutely Disgusting, it was all Pastry.
Bought from a shite Tesco express, AND JUST READ ALL THEIR HORRENDOUS Reviews , HAVE THEY NOT LEARNED A THING FROM THESE REVIEWS.

This is NOT food.
Thankfully it appears that trustpilot users are giving this product a fair review. Unlike other site which rate anything above 1*. And honestly it doesn’t even deserve that.
I wouldn’t even feed these to my dogs. They are not food. And whoever thinks that steaming them is a good idea is taking far too many drugs.

Worst pies on the market
Very poor quality filling is like they have scraped bits up off the floor.
The meat and potatoe is like slop and very little meat.
Steak mostly fat gristle and gravy everything is so bland I don't know who owns Hollands but they really need to up their standards or shut down completely.

Bought a single meat and veg pastie thought it was quite nice so decided to buy the 3 pack, thought I’d be getting 3 regular sized pasties, nope you get 3 minuscule pasties. Total rip off, won’t buy again

Don't waste your money
I bought 4 steak and kidney pies only one had meat in it the other 3 were just pastry and gravy,I would not buy again, Holland's pies used to be the best.

I have always enjoyed the puddings but have noticed a massive decrease in size. One pack of four used to just about fit in my steamer tray - now there is loads of room around them yet they have increased in price!! Either increase price but leave product the same, or decrease size but decrease price too.

Steak and kidney pie quality
Had my first Hollands steak and kidney pie for a while. Filling was small and just mush. My wife recently had a pudding, pretty much the same issue. Won't be getting them again anytime soon.

Just bought Holland steak and kidney puddings for a second time, it is now confirmed I will never buy any more again !! They taste like they were off, tastied absolutely awful.
Sorry Holland I used to love them. But whatever you have changed in them they taste disgusting. My husband has also agreed. That’s twice now. So Will not be buying again. 👎

Ruined a British Classic.
After eating 8 Steak and Kidney puddings I can confirm there was about 2-3 small pieces of steak and only 2 small pieces of Kidney I found out of all 8 puddings.
This is shrinkflation gone mad and it snould be illegal for Holland to sell pies and puddings like this that are essentially gravy with one small piece of meat in a pudding if you get lucky.
The nutritional value of these steak and kidney puddings must be close to 0, probably even a negative of nutritional value as these puddings do not contain any meat whatsoever unless you get lucky and are treated to one piece of tiny steak or one piece of kidney but you will probably eat 4 or 5 pies just filled with gravy before finding a pudding with 1tiny piece of steak or kidney. How pathetic!

I can't give them zero, I bought 4 tesco cheese pies 25/8, the lids fall off and even after heated up their like cardboard. Won't buying them anymore, Hollands used to be the best.
