Good customer service after my complaint
At first I was disappointed and felt misled by the room descriptions, as it seemed I had paid more for the exact same room. I contacted HolidayCheck and explained the issue.
To their credit, HolidayCheck reviewed my case carefully and responded in a professional manner. They acknowledged my concern and offered me a 50 € refund as a goodwill/pricematch solution.
This shows that they do take customer feedback seriously and try to find fair solutions. I appreciate that they handled the matter in a respectful way, and this has restored my trust in them.

I had a very disappointing experience
I had a very disappointing experience. On 07/09/2025, I booked a hotel in Sharm El-Sheikh through this platform and received a confirmation. Everything seemed fine at first, but just one day later I was told that the reservation could not be honored because the rooms were sold out. Instead, I was offered the same rooms at a higher price (200 Euros more).
To make matters worse, my original payment of 375 Euros has still not been refunded. I find this practice unacceptable, as I expected a confirmed booking to be binding and the refund to be processed without delay.
I am very dissatisfied with how this was handled and will be escalating the matter with the relevant authorities if my refund is not processed promptly.

On july 24, I booked a Hotel in the Algarve for 4 nights starting july 28. I received a confirmation from Coral travel for a totally different hotel In Egypt.
Neither Holidaycheck.de nor Coral travel were willing to correct the booking or book a suitable hotel. I made 10 plus calls and wrote ttl more than 20 e-mails.
This to be connected with wrong or closed departments. Emails from various people with excuses as " we have no time, do you have suggestions yourselves, etc etc" but despite all my efforts in good faith nothing was done. In the end they claimed I canceled the booking (which I didn't) and advised they would reimburse the cost paid. This is so wrong. I will pursue this with a legal professional when back home. I have many mails about all kind of action they would take, nothing was done. The fact that there was a mistake in the background software is a cheap excuse. They could claim that all the time in case of a mistake, and obviously doesn't exclude the requirement to confirm the booked hotel or a suitable alternative. Holidaycheck.de knows that.

We have once again just returned from the wonderful H10 TINDAYA HOTEL in Costa Calma Fuerteventura. We had a great time from 02/06/25 to 16/06/25.
This is probably the sixth time we have stayed at this hotel now, and the vacation experience just keeps on getting better. We now know many of the staff and can guarantee they will always go the extra mile to meet your requirements. They are professional positive helpful and very warm. Any questions are quickly sorted and they make you feel a part of the H10 family. The food is personally checked for the best quality and fulfils the tastes of all customers. Hotel is clean bright and well positioned for a great beach. Drinks are top branded and plentiful on all inclusive packages. There is plenty of entertainment both during the day and night for all grown ups and kids. We would recommend this hotel to anyone who wants the ultimate vacation experience and complete relaxation. This should be a 5 star hotel. The manager Lorraine and Rosanna in Human Resources are always striving for improvements on a daily basis. This is truly a home away from home.

Absolutely fantastic stay at Kreativ Hotel Landhaus Schweigl in Südtirol! From the moment we arrived, Marina and René made us feel completely at home with their warm and genuine hospitality. The comfort throughout the hotel is exceptional — everything is perfectly thought out to help you relax and enjoy.

An improvement opportunity
I really like your services and your rates are extremely competitive compared to other providers, that is why I've used your services several times during the last 5 years. The one thing I believe would make your services even better would be if you provided an option in your website with information in other languages like Spanish or English. I contacted your services and got a returned call from an agent who speaks English but the first two times I reached out to your customer service I had no luck.

The provider promised in writing their would be no upfront fee and that the booking could be paid for on check-in.
Within not 24 hours I received an email urging me to pay or the reservation would be cancelled.
Not trustworthy and unresponsive customer service. Do not recommend!

Complete scam, if I could give a -10 I would. My sister and I wanted to book a holiday to Tunisia the price was really good on this website, so of course grab a bargain, no deposit to pay etc until you read the small print as you couldn't visit Tunisia where we wanted to go if you lived in the UK. The holiday was only for EU countries only, so we explained this to them they were ok with this, then started sending my sister emails that she owed the money, she emailed them back then received a letter saying they were going to escalate this, take in mind no money paid. She has now received a debt company letter chasing her for the full money going to take her court. Scammers be very careful

Just booked a last min holiday for some sun been 25% every Day . Hotel staff amazing special mention to Ramy the manger what a great guy couldn’t do enough for me animations team were great put so much in to the shows and games the food was nice with lots of variety every day will definitely be back and would recommend to anyone .
