I love the carpet and the woman that served me in the shop was really nice and helpful

However the price quotes for the underlay was twice as much as what I Needed.

The "Free fitting doesn't include stairs" as there is extra charge for it. Needs to be clarified better.

I was accommodated well in terms of quick turnaround and installation date.

They do need to be cleared on their quotations as what they're charging for and how much.

Just a little bit more transparency is definitely required.

I was very happy with the service I got here from all the team from start to finish I would highly recommend.

great selection of carpets, attentive service and competitive prices. Very satisfied with the fitting and very pleased that they could get this turned around in 10 days (we were waiting on the suppliers) before Christmas. would definitely recommend.

I went to Himalaya Carpet i had a small area total of 7.5 sqm of flooring vinyl I was quoted £100 just for fitting
other shops in areas where £45 to £53 this company is a total joke the price was given by the shop owner

Carpet laid exactly as scheduled. Good price, very efficient. Made an effort to get the carpet I wanted although it was discontinued.

The fitter came on time to lay my laminate flooring he was friendly and polite and worked very hard.
I am very happy with the results.

Dishonest with measurements, This is how people get caught up to their design. Also by alluring people of free fitting carpets. Do not fall into the trap, do not rush do a bit research first.

Terrible service - I said that I was happy for the fitting to occur at any time and it was agreed on Friday afternoon - the fitter phoned me and wanted to do Thursday AM which was not convenient then. Then they couldn't do Friday so she guaranteed Saturday morning by 9AM which didn't happen and after making a nuisance of myself on the phone and threatening to turn up the fitter arrived by 10.30 BUT he made a very good job and am very pleased with the result.

Excellent service from Himalaya Carpets, with staff well informed, patient and polite, thanks Gunita and Shammi . Had a date deadline to carpet my mums house, with the carpet coming from stock in Europe it was good that they called to inform me of progress, luckily it arrived on time and the fitters (contracted) di the job on a Sunday. They did a good job, so all in all a worry free experience, mum is very happy with the way it went

The sales staff at Himalaya Carpet were great in helping us choose our carpet. I had my own measurements so a visit was not necessary. They quickly sourced the carpet from their supplier. Fitting was carried out on the appointed date ( I am not sure if the fitters were employees or sub-contractors ). Happy with the installation.

Great range in-store, quick measurements arranged, Nav came to take measurements, knew his stuff!
The staff bend over backwards to make the fitting date work even if it means getting a fitter out on a Sunday. They seem to look after returning customers, which is great! This is truely a family business, I feel I can go into the warehouse, browse, take a seat, ask for a coffee and nothing is an issue for the staff who work here. The owners son (I am sorry- I don't know your name, Ganita, Nav and so many others in the team, thank you for a great service.
The only downside - the fitters are contractors and not HC's employees so they don't seem to have a HC customer service approach. That being said, the two chaps who fitted the Vinyl in last week were great!
