Acquired an EC3000 from an importer in Australia, after 10hrs of use the pump did not build pressure anymore, contacted Hill about the problem and the support was amazing, so use to companies that sell you something and when something goes wrong, they run circles around just getting it fixed, thanks for the team at Hill....good to know there are still companies out there that look after their customers.

I had an excellent repair service from this company.
The staff were extremely helpful andmy compressor was repaired and returned free of charge under warranty.The customer service was truly excellent.I would have no hessitation in buying any product from this company as the aftercare is 10/10

So. I had an issue with mine after 7 hours use. Why a 5 star review then?

You realise when you start messing how much the design is made for the village idiot to strip service and repair. Really good videos on You Tube take you through this.
Customer service hold your hands through triage before they suggest sending a 24kg lump back to them for repair. How many manufacturers suggest taking it apart and having a look??? (That normally voids any warranty)
When I had to send back I had back within 5 days - me using 48 hour courier and over a weekend!

It’s a good pump - 5 times the price of the China equivalent but quieter. What matters is the customer service and support.

The problem was a hassle. But I now have a pump I know was put together by an expert. Weirdly that counts for me.

If you buy one make sure it’s using its silicon oil. In retrospect I think that was probably my issue. 4-6 months between uses probably didn’t help this.

Fills a gun, fills a tank if you are sensible about resting. After mine broke I’m well and truly sold on Hills. My Chinese pump, although cheaper would have been bin fodder!

I received a Hill Mk5 pro pump as a 2024 Christmas present. I’ll be honest until recently I had never heard of Hill pumps. What a beautifully designed piece of kit and manufactured in Sheffield England.
I have now assembled it, which took less than 30 minutes including finding the spanners and filling the drypac system. And used it today for the first time to refill my Theoben Rapid 7 air bottle. It worked a treat, although as the pressure increases it does become, let me put it this way “quite good exercise” I now feel confident that I can finally dispose of the Aqualung air cylinder which has been cluttering up my cellar for years.

Having used the Hill ec3000 for 12 months I've had nothing but a good experience upto yesterday when the compressor stopped filling, after contacting Hills the problem was sorted and the part as been sent and I feel confident after fitting the unit will perform like new,so it failed like everything does but what's important is the service and how quickly it's sorted , well 10 out 10 for that,I also after talking to Ben ordered a dry pack ,so would I recommend the Hill ec3000 definitely it not only fills my rifles but my 3lts bottle, a British company selling quality compressor for air rifles.

I purchased a EC3000 in November 2022.
It has been running without fault until recently when it blew a fuse, I contacted Hills and the problem was sorted extremely quickly.

Thank you guys for your patience and help which got me back up and running in no time.

Thumbs up to a British company making a quality product.
A good reason to buy British when possible.

I have bought an Ec3000 compressor from them. Very satisfied with the product. After 3 years of use , 50 hours
running, it needed service. I contacted the company and they helped me do it myself. After that occasionally I needed some parts and they were always helpful and fast delivering.
High quality products.

I had placed an order by mistake an was worried about them shipping out my order as they ship out orders fast same day if it was before 2 pm, I sent in email worried, And a whole hour before they opened 9 am Sheffield time Laura had already replied an had gone to work to cancel my order I was very relieved. These folks have Outstanding service.

I had a problem with my compressor . I rang them and they could not have been more helpful. They arranged for my compressor picked up the next day. They received and fixed it the next working day and returned it to me. So in total from calling them to having the fixed item back took 4 working days. Fabulous service

I ordered a MK5 pump and other supplies directly from Hill Pumps and saved money over any supplier I could find in the US. I was short a couple of small items when the package arrived and contacted Jonathon who had been assisting me with my order. He immediately had the items shipped out to me. Excellent customer service, great products and very friendly. 5 stars all around!

Jonathan at Hill Pumps responded promptly to my email request for a replacement burst disc for a Hill EC 3000 air compressor.

After ONE helpful email he sent replacement parts overnight via Royal Mail, WOW!

Many air rifle dealers should take a lesson from Hill! They are awesome and I will purchase their products in the future.

BTW... I reside in the Western USA and they took great care of me.

First rate pump, which was cheaper than other inferior models. Packaging good, instructions clear and filled my 177 to 230psi in no time. I recommend The Hill Pump, you won’t be disappointed.

I recently purchased the Hill EC-3000 air gun pump and have not been disappointed. It's a great piece of kit ... easy to set-up and a doddle to use. It's solid, well-engineered and made in UK. Okay, it's not cheap, but it's definitely worth it.
I had a couple of questions when setting up and using the pump which Hills answered promptly and patiently. I sent one query by email on Saturday at about 3.30pm and within 5 mins had a full, friendly and very reassuring response.
I can't fault the product on usage to date and I certainly reserve maximum praise for Jon, at Hills, for his exceptional customer service. Great pump, great service. Well done Hill pumps!

Bought a mk4 just over a year ago now the problems start,wont pump nothing into my rifle,bleed screw valve leaks unless you tighten it up with mole grips,although regulary greased up the main pump stem is rusting and the dry pack system seems to be a gimmick,,for the price they charge i think its a bit of a rip off,you dont even get a spare set of replacement seals thrown in for the price,,had a chinese ebay model a week and by far better at only £36,comes with spares too,i wouldnt reccomend them to anyone im afraid not for that price.

Just bought my first item off them, a Hill Pump Mk5 and the whole experirence from start to actually receiving it has been a pleasure.
Jonathan Merrick answered my initial questions without delay and normally within a few minutes.
When i ordered it he got it dispatched the same day and it arrived at my door at 9am the next morning.

When I found that the Hill Pump Mk4 I'd bought did not connect to my Topeak Twin Head connector (to use for pumping up my bicycle tyres), Hillpump's customer service arranged for an adaptor be fabricated and shipped out to me. Can't beat that for great customer service - keep up the good work!
