The service was good
The service was good, and the vehicles were clean, but the availability and variety of vehicles are limited. I’m a President’s Circle member and rent exclusively through Hertz. While I appreciate the cleanliness and customer service, I wish there were more vehicle options.
One area where Hertz is falling behind is the fleet. Most of the vehicles available are not the higher-spec or top-trim models. For example, during my last rental I received a Mercedes-Benz GLE 350 that didn’t even have Adaptive Cruise Control or Steering Assist. For a premium SUV at a premium rental price, I would expect at least these basic driver-assistance features.
I rent cars 4–5 times every month, and I’ve noticed that the fleet has remained almost the same for the past two years with very little refresh or variety. I hope Hertz considers expanding and updating its fleet with more well-equipped vehicles, especially for loyal customers like President’s Circle members.
