The staff are very friendly and helpful. I have had 2 sessions one on the front and 1 on the crown 2 weeks ago. They were always in contact after the procedure to make sure everything was ok. For the operation everything was exactly as explained to me on both occasions. If I had any concerns they were quick to help anyway they could. If you are thinking of getting it done get in contact with them they are very easy to deal with

Was good. I was nervous having come from canada to turkey. My wife and i turned it into a vacation and followed the procedure with a cruise. Translator was great, the transfers were flawless. I have no complaints

Struggling with my hair loss for quite a while, I decided it is time to take action. So I made an intense research, asked several clinics for quotations and compared the procedures.
Finally, I decided to go with Hermest. They assessed my situation and proposed DHI method with 2800 grafts to be transplanted.

I needed to do an advance payment to secure my booking, and Hermest took care about everything else (except the flight). On the day of the treatment, I got picked up at the hotel and brought to the clinic. My translator was already awaiting me, informed me again in detail about the procedure, and also handed me over all documents which needed to be signed page-by-page. I was quite anxious and when reading all the potential risks, I got hesitant because after all it is a medical procedure on the head… but when I was talking to other guys in the waiting room, who have had their treatment already, everybody was satisfied with the process of the surgery so far, and this gave me enough confidence to go for the treatment.

After I signed and paid, they brought me to the assessment room, where they took a blood sample and checked the vital parameters. Also the doctor came in to discuss and mark the new hairline on my scalp. Once this was agreed on, I was brought to the shaving area. Hermest said that with DHI method I can select to either just shave the donor area and keep the hair at the recipient area, or shave the entire scalp. Since they explained that when keeping the hair, it might increase the infection risk, I decided to shave it all off and minimize that risk.

With shaved head I was being brought to the treatment room. I was being laid face down onto a massage-kind of chair, and the technician startet to extract the grafts. Painful was just the anaestesia, which is applied by several injections into the skin of the scalp. After few minutes, the area was numb and i didn’t feel any pain. The extraction itself took approx. 90mins.
Then I was asked to change and lay face up onto the treatment couch. The doctor came in and together with his assistants (who prepared and handed him over the DHI pen), he started the implantation. I got a light sedation and was like half asleep, without any pain. Once the hairline was done, I was handed a mirror to check if I wanted any kind of last correction. It was fine, so I agreed with them to continue. The entire procedure took another approx. 3hrs, and then all 2800 grafts have been implanted. I got offered dinner and then was brought back to the hotel. During my stay at the clinic, my translator was present/available all the time.

You have to sleep with that special pillow to avoid any harm to the scalp. This of course is not really convenient sleep, but it is absolutely worth to endure that for a few days.
The next day I was being picked up after breakfast, and brought to the clinic. They removed the bandage around my head, and gave me a first hairwash. After being informed about the aftercare, I was brought to the airport. It of course feels awkward to go into public like this, but there are so many people at Istanbul airport traveling like this, which kind of helps.

The first 6 days, I just stayed home and tried to avoid public. Sleeping with that special pillow and therefore permanently on the back wasn’t easy but I knew that before. I took the medication as prescribed, followed the washing instructions as given, and the clinic regularly followed-up via whatsapp and asking for photos. I didn’t experience any complications, just some mild swelling, which i was informed about already in advance.
Then at day 6, the scabs started to come off. That was a true relief, because once they were gone, I could sleep normally again. The hair started to grow already, so it got better day by day.
After approx. 3-4 weeks, I noticed that the shedding phase had started at the recipient- as well as at the donor area. It was not too bad, so it didn’t really bother me much.

And then, after 2 months, the magic started to happen. New hair! It’s just amazing to see the hair growing back. At first very thin, but then week after week more strong and dense. Now I am at month 5 and I couldn’t be more happy about the result. I didn’t even realize how much i was missing my hair, and I never expected the (intermediate) result to be that good.
During all this time, and up until now, Hermest was following up on me regularly. I haven’t experienced any complication, and they delivered what they promised. I would do everything the same way again, just maybe 5 years earlier 😉

I had a great experience at Hermest, transportation was no issue at all and the hotel itself was nice and comfortable, about 1 hour from the airport. The actual hair transplant went well, I have 4000 grafts put in. The team was quite considerate and kept checking up with me during the procedure on my pain and stoping to make sure I'm comfortable first before proceeding. Went to clinic for 9am and was out around 4pm. Overall it was quite successful. I appreciated the fact they did not want to over harvest the area, it's too early to fully tell how the final results will be but I am very hopefully currently. I'm about 2 weeks post op and the after care has been wonderful. I have been liaisoning with Alp and he has been wonderful, answering any questions or concerns and it has been really reassuring. Over all I would recommend this clinic highly.

The atmosphere at the clinic is very calm and relaxing. I felt well cared for by the team at the clinic and during the online support time after the surgery.

The level of care is above and beyond anything I could have expected in the uk, or possibly in any other clinic in Türkiye. This, of course, is just my opinion and is based on the type of clinic I looked for. They only have a few clients each day and, there fore, the experience is very personalised. The doctor and surgeon spent about 30mins alone slightly moving my hairline, with minute detail, insisting this was very important. I trusted them completely. It felt like I was the most important person in their schedule and I couldn't have asked for more than that. The doctor and surgeon also made all the incisions and 3 assistants extracted and implanted my hair. I felt in equally capable hands during extraction and implantation as the "assistants" expertise and knowledge was at least equal to that of the surgeon's (I asked a lot of questions throughout and they answered everything honestly and with timeserved insight). Finally, the whole experience was orchestrated by 4 different translators, who seemed to have an astounding level of knowledge about the procedure, with any more technical and unique questions directed towards the medical staff and translated back to me. I fact, nothing that was said in the, was not translated which made me feel very at ease. I'm not particularly fashionable and wouldn't normally spend a lot of money on clothes, never mind other aspects of my appearance, so I am perhaps not your "classic" British hair transplant candidate. Because of this, I probably had even more anxiety about the whole thing. This being said, I would not have rather been anywhere else for the procedure. I am now 2 weeks post op, and whilst I'm still hiding away a bit, the transplants have healed remarkably well. The aftercare has also been prompt and insightful, so I'm hoping that I continue to make good progress. The conservative approach of the surgeon meant they harvesters 4300 graft and managed to cover 2 thirds of my bald areas. In hindsight, I'm very grateful for this conservatism because there is still quite a significant amount of healing to be done and I would not have wanted any more. Depending how I feel in a year, I may well look at having the rest done. I would only go to hermest for this. Thank you so much

The Operation itself took from what I still remember around 7 hours. Painless for the most part, except only the part where doctor give you painkillers :)

The clinic has very nice workers that make sure you are given the best possible quality while being realistic about the results. The transfers are smooth, the hotel is good for the few days of resting in. The price is very reasonable for the quality of the procedure, so I 100% recommend this place. The hair growth is slow, but noticing especially with the aftercare package you can purchase and use for months, that doesn't require meds that could give potential side effects.

Great service, kind workers, and help along every step

As a patient from Germany, I am very satisfied with the results of my hair transplant. From the initial consultation to the actual surgery, everything was handled very professionally. My questions were answered promptly and all the logistics (except for the flights) were taken care of perfectly. All I had to do was get on the plane. At the airport, I was picked up by a shuttle service and taken to the hotel. The next morning, I was picked up, driven to the clinic, and then underwent the procedure. After the surgery, I was served a delicious meal, and afterward, I was driven back to the hotel. On the last day, I was taken back to the clinic for a follow-up check and my first hair wash. From there, I was driven back to the airport and was able to board my flight.

I never felt unsafe at any point. All the staff took excellent care of me at all times. The clinic is very well-equipped, modern, and clean.

It’s been a week since my surgery now, and everything feels great. The 12-month follow-up care service also deserves a positive mention here. Questions about post-operative care are answered here at any time. They simply take good care of the patients.
