I have finished the Help My Dog Walks Are Stressful (10 Day Course). My boy Bruno would get to the end of the block, about to lose sight of our house and, immediatly turn around and pull me back to our door. He was nervous about everything. After doing this course, he has been able to walk around our block and onto neighboring streets. He even walked to the park, which is on a very busy street. There were many cars racing by and they didn't faze him. Thanks to this course I have been empowerd with strategies and tools to help my boy navigate new and novel places we encounter on our walks.

I've just finished the HelpMyDog 10 day course to de-stress your dog walks to help my youngest dog. Today my sister came for a 40 minute walk with us through a noisy car park, an arboretum and by a lake - and she described all three dogs as 'angelic'.
Our youngster is a bundle of rubber and strings and sometimes the presence of other dogs, chickens, ducks, squirrels, swans, children, noisy vehicles, politicians, or mime artists, can either make him square his shoulders and yell: "Bring it!!!' or become a shrinking violet who wants to hide on his belly in the undergrowth. Neither of which is great when I have two other dogs with me.
This course is great. It will give you a much better understanding of your dog and why they do what they do, but also it will give you the practical science-based tools to help them. And help them fast. You will be amazed at 1. how much fun you have 2. how little time you need to invest each day and 3. how quickly you start to see improvements - and if you keep playing the games you will KEEP seeing improvements. I guarantee it, because my small boy is the fourth dog I've now trained using Tom Mitchell's methods.
You and your dog deserve fun walks, not to be leaping at shadows and praying there isn't a dog (or a politician) lurking around the next corner.
And to be honest, this is also a fraction of what you'd pay to see a behaviourist. (I know, I've seen a few over the years - but none since I discovered Tom Mitchell's courses. And none of them gave us the results this did.) If you don't currently enjoy walking your dog - or if they don't enjoy it - do both of you a favour and sign up for this. You won't regret it.

I have completed the 10day plan with my two dogs.
It was so much fun.
One of my dogs was getting over a long illness and didn't want to engage in any training or games at all until we started very short easy sessions of the day 1 game
She stayed engaged and completed 9 out of the 10 days.
One game didn't suit her but that's ok. She made huge progress.
Both my dogs are more engaged and responsive.
It's a program I'm sure we will repeat over and over when we need a top up or just want some fun.

Really fun positive training, with enlightening foundations explaining the dogs brain how it reacts in different situations, why we get the resulting behaviours, and easy kind fun ways to adapt behaviours to fit our lifestyles. I am totally addicted! My dog and I have such fun.

All my dogs are more comfortable in their skin and living with their people since I started studying with Tom several years ago, as are hundreds of dogs whose guardians I have taught. But my 2 year old Havana Silk Dog, who has been trained this way from the moment he came home at 9 weeks, is the most confident, communicative, and responsive dog I have ever had. Under Dr Tom’s tutelage I have learned that dog training is about far more than obedience. It’s about concept development and the dog learning to make good choices because those choices turn out to be the best deal for him. And it all happens through games!

Dr Tom Mitchell is an amazing dog (and person!) trainer. He is both a qualified vet AND a qualified animal behaviourist, and he's a brilliant teacher as well.
His method of teaching is always positive for both dog and human. I love that he teaches "why" our dogs behave the way they do, and then suggests easy training "games" that can help improve and change the behaviour.
Love that he is now running his own company on his own terms, and we get 100% Tom without other distractions. The Hub is very friendly and Tom and his wife Madeleine are both very accessible, interacting daily in the group which is very refreshing.
If you want to learn, and understand your dog better, this is the best value dog training money can buy.

I have been following Tom for year to help transform my dogs’ behaviour struggles. I am loving the Help my Dog Hub, and for me it is delivering information in a way that I can really absorb and despite all that I know already, I am getting lightbulbs of new insights all the time. Seeing him work through Gorse’s reactivity is really helpful. Since starting the hub 4 months ago I feel that my knowledge of how to train and understand MY dogs has been taken to another level. Oh and it’s a supportive community, for me there is a manageable amount of content added each week and there is no additional selling.

The Help my Dog hub is fantastic, the best place to get ideas to basically help your dog! My dog is an ex-street dog with a lot of problems and the ideas I have been shown I have implemented and I have seen massive improvements. The proof is in the pudding!!!!

This online space is proving to be the best thing I’ve spent money on for my dog. We’ve had several one-to-one trainers who weren’t so helpful but the information here and the value it gives is amazing. Also the fun!
And my dog is steadily getting less explosive 😊

Tom gives wonderful, kind, sound science backed training for my dog. He has already dramatically improved our walks and disengagement from other dogs and people, I can now enjoy going out with my dog walking as a team instead of being the nut holding the leash.
