SIZING ISSUES, MANUFACTURING DEFECTS, AND POOR DESIGN
SIZING ISSUES, MANUFACTURING DEFECTS, AND POOR DESIGN.
They have sizing issues. My dog is 120 lbs. I ordered the large harness as it is supposed to fit a dog 80 lbs to 125 lbs. Being at the top of the weight range should mean very little shortening of the straps. That hasn't been the case. I have had to shorten the straps significantly.
The straps do not lay flat. They twist, which cannot be comfortable for the dog wearing it.
The shoulder strap needs to be redesigned and or more sizing options provided. A dog that is 80 lbs to 125 lbs is typically going to be taller. The shoulder strap for the large harness is more than 6 feet long. For this to work for me and my dog, a minimum of 4 feet of excess strap hangs off one side and 2 feet on the other....or I need to be at least 9 feet tall. EXCESS strap just dangling. On the floor. In the way. A hazard to fall over when dealing with an already unstable dog. And then when I'm injured, what happens to my dog? AND, since it doesn't attach quickly, I'm supposed to leave it on, dragging??
I'm not convinced this company cares about dogs at all.
