What a gorgeous company
I found out about Hello Petal on Instagram (hello.petal.flowers) and immediately fell in love. I love flowers and would love to get into gardening, though due to mobility reasons I find it difficult to get out to gardening centres. Companies like this are a joy. Everything you need to create something beautiful sent right to your door. Perfect.
I signed up to a July DIY pot kit called the Summer Scalloped Planter Kit. This included a terracotta pot, five plants, gravel, soil and decorative moss. Everything you need to plant up a beautiful pot for the centre of an outdoor table.
Not only could I choose the day it arrived, it actually turned up on time. It was well packed (with no plastic! Much appreciated touch) and all the plants arrived in good condition. The quality of the terracotta pot was excellent, it’s such a beautiful decorative piece.
Planting it up was easy even for an amateur like me. They provide links to a YouTube video giving you a step by step guide to your plants, how to pot them and then how to care for them. I had mine planted up very quickly and it now sits pride of place on my garden table. It gives me joy every time I look at it.
I was really pleased to see that as well as selling these kits, they also sell refill kits so that in future months and years when these plants are over, you can buy more kits with just the plants and soil etc instead of having to buy a full kit complete with another pot. Great idea.
Tempted now to try some of their other kits as I’m so pleased with these. Each month they release new ones perfect for that time of year, and I’m looking forward to seeing what they bring out for August.
In summary: excellent service and great quality. Would highly recommend.
