Further to my update in July, now I am chasing David for the annual service of the same boiler but he keeps avoiding me. I spoke to him twice and sent him an email and left two messages on his voice mail as well. But he is now not taking my calls or responding to my messages. Its typical of him. I desperately need the boiler serviced and a gas safety certificate issued without further delay. It has been a very disappointing experience with this company and this person who runs the show for this company. How can I recommend him anymore to anyone else?

Further to my previous comments, David has been in touch with me a few times and has sent an engineer last week to perform a complete Chemical System Flush which was carried out over a couple of hours and using the original chemicals. In addition, as part of our deal, he has assured me a free service this year and another one next year as part of the original agreement. I am now happy with their service. Thanks David.

A Glow worm boiler was installed in October last year by Heat for Homes and since then we have been calling them several times to get the pressure valve issue sorted as the water kept leaking through the outlet pipe. As part of the installation their engineer was supposed to come and check everything was working satisfactorily but this was not the case. (In their contract it was mentioned that 'prices include a complete Chemical System Flush which is a fundamental part of our installation process as well as a post-installation check service that we carry out a couple of days after the Boiler has been up and running to ensure that the system is balanced and operating correctly). If the post-installation check was done soon after the installation they could have identified the issue with the valve and the water won't be so dirty. After calling and discussing the issue with David several times, he told me to call the Glow worm manufacturer directly. Eventually, we called the Glow worm which is part of Vaillant group to come and have a look at the issue. When their engineer came he found out a problem with one of the valves so he fitted a new pressure release valve. Also, they found out that during the initial installation, the installers did not carry out a power flush of the radiator at all so the water coming out was very dirty and muggy. They have warned that unless a power flush is carried out sooner the boiler warranty could become invalid. I have sent an email to Heat for Homes but so far no reply. After my initial feedback Heat for Homes offered a free water testing but not a full cleaning of the radiators which I am not willing to accept. I am very much frustrated with the attitude of this company so I will never recommend this company to anyone.

Professional, timely and friendly

As with all my dealings with this company. Everything handled in a professional manner but with added feeling that I was being treated personally, and that feeling goes a long way in my book. I would recommend heat for homes to anybody.

David was so front-foot it almost alarmed me at first but his firm did exactly what they undertook to do, with no hidden charges. He was very proactive without becoming pushy, professional and prompt in everything. He was first to answer my Boilerguide query and was in contact until late evening to get the work arranged for the following morning. My tenants reported a good experience with his team. He sent helpful photos of the completed installation as I was not on site.
I guess his efficiency helps keep his pricing keen. I wish every tradesman was like this.

Fast installation, slight hiccup with faulty LED display, Heat for Homes organised WB to come round and replace within a few days & system and iPhone App now all working perfectly. I would use them again.

Could not have had a more smooth experience with heat for homes , conor showed up with in the hour and was very polite and accommodating managed to fix my faulty boiler with in 10 mins , a great experience and even greater price . Could not fault them at all , definitely best in the game at what they do and will recommend them to all family and friends

David was very professional he gave me a choice of 3 boilers which would suit my needs. A date was booked and 2 gas safe engineers turned up on the date and removed old boiler including water cylinder and loft tank and installed new combi boiler all in a day. They were very tidy and cleared up after they finished. An excellent Company and would recommend them 100%, hence the top rating.

Came the following morning and the guy was really friendly. He also fixed 3 radiators for us.

Last-minute requirements to service two boilers were accommodated on the same day, with professional, efficient and quoted as stated.
