Great job!
David was really helpful and explained everything really well before the installation. We had it booked in within a few days and although we were sent a boiler that was too big they swapped this quickly and the installation went smoothly. They did a great job!

Replacement boiler old one 16 years…
Replacement boiler old one 16 years old, organised through Worchester Bosh fast track as an accredited company, excellent service from first contact to finish slight delay due to previous job overrunning, but kept updated by Dave, Connor completed the boiler replacement with no drama cleaned up afterwards spotless, installation very neat a work of art, very pleased, explained how it all works, would highly recommend this company having had trouble finding a reliable company.
Our old boiler recently packed up…
Our old boiler recently packed up completely. We we recommended to the company by friends of ours who recently had their boiler replaced. David came to look at our old boiler to check the dimensions and pipework etc. the very next day. David then gave us prices for 3 different boilers that he felt would be suitable and the prices were very reasonable. 48 hours later Tom came to install our new boiler. He was quick, efficient and thorough. It has now been 5 days since the new boiler was installed. We have no faults/complaints.
Great boiler installation
Conor from Heat for Homes Ilford came out to install a new boiler on the coldest day of the year. He worked non-stop to make sure we would have heat and hot water after two days without. He was friendly and polite and definitely went the extra mile to make sure we’d be warm and showered by the end of the day. Fully recommended.
Heat for Homes were a great help when…
Heat for Homes were a great help when my boiler was unexpectedly condemned. After I got the bad news on Tuesday morning, HfH came round later that same day to take a look and arrange a quote. My new boiler was up and running by Friday lunchtime.
Based on my experience, I heartily recommend!
Friendly, personable and honest.
Friendly, personable and honest. Explained what the issues were in layman’s terms. Also got a quote off another boiler company which came in as more expensive so I felt the pricing was fair and competitive.
Absolutely amazing work.
Absolutely amazing work.
Combi heater was replaced in a blink on an eye. Full system clean-up, quick, efficient, polite.
Highly recommended!

Lies, stories and incompetence
We were recommended David by Worcester to install our new Worcester boiler and set of four radiators. Our experience with David is 6 weeks of false promises, ignored phone calls and messages, messiness and unsatisfactory work. I've laid out the timeline below and we will be contacting Worcester to complain about the service we received.
Sept 7th
He first sent round one of his workers to install everything over a weekend while we were away and we came back to a really messy boiler installation with a web of pipes taking up far more space than was necessary (and visible from the road through the window), a hole in our kitchen ceiling where fluid from they had spilled when removing the hotwater tank had to be drained (this also stained the ceiling and one of our cushions below). A quote from one of the three men in the flat that day was that they had given the place a wipe down after the work but "not like a lady would do it". I would expect that no one would leave someone's home in the condition it was left in - "lady" or not.
Sept 14th
He then sent someone else round a week later to sort out the issue with the pipes - this time the engineer had been told it would just be a quick job to sort but he ended up being here 12 hours. He sorted the pipes to be a much better configuration (obviously though our kitchen work surface still has three unwanted holes from the previous set up though...). After this visit we were left without hot water but were told that this was due to only one radiator being left on the wall (we had them taken off so that we could get it replastered). This was not the case (another one of David's employee's knew this not to be the case from one text about the problem) but due to David not communicating this to us we let it be until a few weeks later when we got the radiators rehung.
Sept 16th
We pay the remaining amount of the invoice - DO NOT DO THIS. It was incredibly transparent how we dropped down David's priority list once he had all the money from us. Responses to messages and phone calls basically became a lottery and often I had to call three times before he actually responded - even with information that he had to hand.
Oct 4th
We then had organised for someone to rehang the radiators on October 4th. We arranged this with David 2 weeks in advance, and then rang up at the beginning of the week to confirm this and he said it was all sorted. It was not sorted and I stayed in all day waiting for one of David's people to come in and they never arrived. He then promised that we would get someone in over the weekend to sort the hot water - this also never happened.
Week of Oct 7th
We were told that someone would get to us on Tuesday afternoon - afternoon to David means 5.30pm (this job required moving pipes for 2 radiators, hanging 2 more on top of working out the problem with the boiler - not a job you can complete in a couple hours on an evening). It was pretty clear to us that we were the lower priority job that was second to jobs that hadn't been paid for yet.
We finally got the third of David's men round on the thursday around 2pm. He established that the job was a lot more than he expected it tobe and he wouldn't be able to get it done that day. He was then meant to come on Sunday and sort it all and had to cancel last minute. By this point we had been needlessly without how water for weeks and were staying at a family member's a couple days a week in order to do washing and shower.
Oct 15th
We finally managed to get the guy in again to rehang the radiators. He managed to get our heating sorted and established that we had a problem with the boiler itself and so had Worcester come round themselves to sort it. However when hanging one of the radiators he realised that the plasterboard wouldn't support the weight. Instead of checking with us, he screwed two sections of plywood to the wall studs extending far outside the radiator. This is obviously not how anyone would want their hallway to look but upon complaining to David about this, my partner was told that as this had been mentioned to me when I had got home that "he didn't know what she was complaining about". I honestly would be intrigued to see the aesthetic that David's engineer's homes have given what they are happy to install in other people's properties.

Good service
I used Heat for Homes to replace my boiler three years ago I was very satisfied with their service promptness and price. They have also annually serviced the boiler since, again with promptness and efficiency. Plus the guy answering the phones is always a pleasure to talk to.
