Attempted binding NDA for century old basic information
Harper International (formerly Harper Electric Furnace Corp until 1989) apparently doesn't keep records before 1944, and until I provided photographic evidence refused to believe I even had a unit that was made before then. Despite undergoing a merge and a name change, they claimed they were entirely unrelated companies, despite records with the state saying otherwise as well as their own site referencing John L. Harper from the 1900s & their update in 1989. The condescending tone throughout the whole experience was enough to turn me away from Harper International as a whole for kiln fabrication and upkeep, and after all of this I still don't have even a generic manual.
