Short fused technical customers support rep's

The sea water pump appears to be well built.( Purchased a GEN 4 Sea water pump ). We have it installed, the pump fits just like the original mercury sea water pump. The problem was trying get information from the ttechnical support rep. They have the knowledge but very hard to get the information out of them. It more painful than getting a tooth pulled.!!!! They do not want to spend the time to help. Here is quote from one of the tech support rep's, after a few questions, he said his head was going to explode. I talked to one and email another tech support rep with the same results. Very short fused.!!!!

Poor quality products and hassle you on warrantee

Bought a new Velocity boat last year that had 2 x Transom Mount Adjustable Water Pick-Ups made by Hardin Marine. One had the weld fail in less then a year and I lost the whole lower pickup tube. I even spend $65 for a new bottom tube but they sent no collar with screw to attach this to the 90. When I contacted their support and showed them pictures they tell me 99% of the time they only break off if it hits something. I showed pictures the tubes do not even go past the bottom of the boat and so that is not possible. They wanted to further hassle me by contacting my dealer to try and do warranty. All this for a $20 collar. Places like this that make sub-par parts, refuse to honor warranty and have bad customer service do not deserve to be in business. I advise to look elsewhere as there are many other reputable high performance marine parts manufacturers out there.
