The cheek of it!

Given that a major YouTuber is one of their ambassadors, you’d think their equipment would be up to scratch… but then again entry level can be hit and miss in my previous experiences.

Purchased an R3 bundle with SR-P Lite pedals in April 2025, and up until last week (10/09/25) reliability has been OK. During a race my brake pedal got stuck on without me pressing it, so I thought it’s just a glitch or a dirty contact… The screw holding the pedal to the base had become loose so subsequently tightened it, but it was still registering near-maximum input without me pressing the pedal.

So I reset and re-calibrated multiple times, and having bought directly from MOZA I contacted them. I knew it was a Chinese company before buying, but thought they’d have a UK help centre… Nope, based in Beijing so time differences played a factor in their response times. They did reply quickly but would not accept that it was a hardware fault.

What’s making me write this review is the fact they asked to remotely access my PC from China via software that has historically been unsecure! I BEG YOUR PARDON?! ANYONE WITH A BRAIN KNOWS TO NEVER LET ANYONE ACCESS YOUR PC REMOTELY, EVEN IF THEY ARE SUPPOSEDLY A TRUSTED COMPANY!!

I doubt they’ll refund me and I probably can fix the pedal myself, but when in warranty that’s not the point! Safe to say if this does get fixed it will be sold to someone willing to take more of a gamble than me.

Without doubt the absolute worst Sim…

Without doubt the absolute worst Sim Racing software support. These people are horriffically bad at support and their software upgrades are damaging. They make zero effort to explain how to fix complex issues and cause considerable distress to their customers with so called upgrades. AVOID.

Worst customer service on the planet

Worst customer service on the planet. All i wanted was to get a price for me to send in a unit for battery replacement. They only give you a canned answer asking for a receipt & a video picture showing the problem.

I replied that i didn't want a warranty service, just to pay for a new battery. And how does one show it won't hold a charge in a picture.

They never even replied. Anything you ask gets the same useless canned reply but no human ever answers.

Plus I'm not even happy with the slypod. Nothing but problems and useless for actual productions.

This is one of the worst brands ever

This is one of the worst brands ever. After 7 days, it was delivered to me and I was excited over my 700$ set. It was short-lived, though, as I soon realised this wouldn't be a piece of cake. After literally searching the internet for a whole day trying to find a solution, I chose to contact the support which wrote back after 3 days. They were not bad, but not good either. I tried to tell them to send me a return adress but they wouldn't send me one. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS BRAND. BAD SUPPORT. I HAVE NEVER SEEN SUCH IDIOTIC RETURN POLICY, YOU AREN'T ALLOWED TO OPEN THE PACKAGE UNLESS YOU WANT TO BREAK THE RETURN POLICY.

They filter their reviews, untrustworthy

They filter their reviews. I've tried to leave an authentic review to talk about their lack of warranty support.

Of course, they rejected it. It's only 4 and 5 star reviews on their website.

I advise you do not buy this Moza gimbal or any Moza products. I had one battery die (of 4), and when I reached out to Moza to get a replacement, they offered none, nor any solutions. Their batteries are slightly larger than standard 18650 batteries, making them proprietary and not easily available. Their website (and other websites) are sold out, essentially rending this gimbal useless.

Some years ago, they did a great job of trying to compete with DJI by releasing beneficial updates for all of their gimbals. It seems that they've stopped doing this. At this point, for price, quality, performance, and warranty repairs, I would highly recommend you do not purchase this gimbal and buy one from DJI instead.

It's unfortunate that Moza does not stand by their products (or even a single battery).

Stay away.

Stay away.
Bought Moza air 2 as a replacement for my stolem DJI Ronin because of it's great reviews. And while the gimbal worked great while it worked, the problems it brought related to it's dying batteries were just not worth it.
Nearly everyone has the same issue. One of the batteries dies after a short while and you have to buy s new one !WHICH YOU CAN'T BUY 1 OF!
Correct! You have to buy all 4! And they have extra metal piece soldered to them so You can't just go with regular 18650 without workarounds. And !!THEY ARE OVERPRICED!!.
Also, customer service is terrible and lot of people have a reason to believe the company does their worst to prevent any workarounds to remain on the internet so that they won't show up if you search them on google.
There we are. Never again!
Next time I'm buying Ronin again.

I should have read reviews first

The website just seems like a scam, maybe you'll get your items. Maybe. I have chased up where things missed off my order with customer support, and not hear back for weeks, then they have told me things were delivered and to "check my mailbox or backyard".

Items have not arrived, and honestly the lack of up to date info on tracking numbers and whats being shipped out is very dodgy.

Not worth it, if you want to try the product, order through BHPhoto, but id say not

Avoid Avoid Avoid

Spent hours deciding on what camera gimbal to buy and chose one made by Moza. It arrived and I unboxed it all and set it all up then downloaded the app to control it only for it not to work. It turns out this is a very common problem on Samsung phones using the latest Android version and has been for months. So basically its a state of the art gimbal that only works with phones that are not up to date. Tried to contact customer services and gave up and just returned item. Dont buy a Moza product that requires an app if you have an up to date Android phone, it wont work. Its a known problem yet they choose to not tell people.

This is the second time I attempted to…

This is the second time I attempted to purchase a set of x4 batteries for my Moza Air 2 on the Gudsen website, when they were out of stock.

Email correspondence with the company proved a waste of time, as their replies confirmed they have no batteries available - I cannot source them anywhere else on the web in UK / Europe.

As the lion battery length varies from supplier to supplier (I've purchased non Moza brand versions from two providers and the battery lengths were both different and different to that of the Moza brand), purchasing an equivalent battery type elsewhere will most likely result in batteries that will not fit the Moza Air 2.

While the DJI equivalent is slightly more expensive, if you are a professional photographer / videographer who demands excellent customer service and supply of product when you need it, I'd strongly urge purchase of the DJI gimbal.

While this post will no doubt be responded to with a 'sorry to hear about your experience' from Gudsen that, simply, is not good enough.

Broken units and terrible customer service.

My Moza air 2 arrived about three days ago. Immediately upon receiving it I noticed two things. ONE was that I was never told it shipped. Had no tracking number or anything, given there are package thieves all over this was a huge problem. (more on this later)
The second thing I immediately noticed. Was that the unit they sent me was NOT the one I ordered. I ordered the Moza Air 2 with the wireless follow focus system. Which is a $200 add-on. I just got the regular focus-M unit.
Upon further review and assembly, I also noticed that my unit's, both the follow-focus unit and the gimbal itself was WAAAY out of updates. Meaning the two together was never going to work unless updated.
I Immediately brought this up to their absolutely terrible customer support, (which is based in china so good luck. Since depending on where you live. they are only available for me, IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT) I also brought up the fact that my gimbal, no matter how perfectly balanced would go into sleep mode for no reason, and also spin on a random axis out of nowhere. Sometimes freaking out and starts to smash the living hell out of my camera.
Upon bringing this up to the support I was met with them ignoring my request to get a refund, I was met with having to submit video proof of all my claims. EVEN THOUGH, THEY SENT ME THE WRONG THING!
This eventually goes back and forth until they tell me that they sent out the missing piece of my package, which was the wireless unit. NEVER TELLING ME. So that package most likely ended up getting stolen on my porch, since I was not there to expect it. They don't believe me, so I have to end up FILMING MYSELF going to my mailroom and showing them, narrating the entire thing and showing them that the package is not there. IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT!!! Screw this company, save your money and go with something else.

This app is absolutely RUBBISH AND USELESS

The app is absolutely rubbish. Gudsen keep trying to reinvent it, but solve nothing. The support for app is non existent. They simply NEVER answer ANY questions.

They have taken away aperture and focus lock which then renders the app and any footage useless as the camera is constantly jittering trying to re-focus as you move causing unwatchable and unusable footage.

I am so angry with their support and development team absolutely hopeless.
