Many customers expressed significant dissatisfaction with the customer service, finding it unresponsive and difficult to contact, often receiving only automated replies or no response at all. People frequently reported issues with product quality, including items arriving damaged, batteries failing prematurely, and products not performing as advertised, especially regarding battery life and power. The contact methods, primarily online forms, were widely criticized for being ineffective, with many queries going unanswered for extended periods. I have the 80V 21" Brushless 3-in-1…

I have the 80V 21" Brushless 3-in-1 Push Lawn Mower: 4.0 Ah Battery and Charger. From day 1 it did not cut well. I have a small healthy lawn that I mow as much as 3x a week so that I am only taking a little off the top each time and so I don't have to bag. HOWEVER, this "high powered" mower does NOT mulch at all. It leave a mess behind that my 20+ year old gas mower does not. I've contacted support (who have been very responsive) with no solution other than I should have bought their more expensive model. Again, I have a small healthy yard that I do not let overgrow. I thought I was overbuying with the one I got..... Bottom Line: Greenworks Mowers SUCK!

Beware buyers - Greenworks Tools will not refund anything you pay.

This company seems set up to defraud customers. Once they receive your payment they have no intention of repaying despite your consumer rights on faulty goods or just your right to refunds if you change your mind. Holding your money in this way is in fact fraud because there's no evidence they are honest traders but instead rogue traders deliberately misleading customers about rights which they then do not uphold. Just avoid these people and their 'products' at all costs and let's break their 'business' model.

No Phone Line For Customer Service, No Custom! I have Gone Elsewhere!

I am so pleased I gave up with this shambles. As I have, since, read exactly what I felt, and why I am writing this: they have zero customer service, and have just lost my custom, as I have placed a large order for garden equipment with Hyundai!

Let me warn you all put there, that any company, today, that has a glitzy web-site, where there isn't a phone numbet for customer service, and isn't even an email address, is a company run by small staff, poor management, and misguided, cheap profiteering, without customers being at the forefront! Typical of 2026 and the nonsense we all put up with daily!

I had to use thier silly, site fill in form, and ask a series of questions, with their claim that they 'guranatee customer service'. This is nonsense! If someone needs to ask a question, then pay staff to pick up a phone! Simple! So, two days later, no reply, I have gone elsewhere! Goodbye Greenworks!

Oh, and they buy all their stuff in from China anyway! Best go to a real company, with a correct profile and proper customer service. Time we all voted with a click of the button, and said, ''No phone line, not custome!''

“This product is an absolute disappointment"

“Absolutely dreadful battery quality. This 60V 2.5Ah replacement battery became practically useless after only about six total uses. Runtime collapsed to barely 10 to 14 minutes, the charger now throws a constant fault light, and the battery indicator flashes on for a second before shutting itself right back off. For something marketed as premium outdoor equipment, this is embarrassingly poor performance. A lithium battery should not be acting like a disposable toy after a handful of light residential jobs. What exactly is the quality control process here? Because this feels less like a serious power tool product and more like an overpriced experiment sold to unsuspecting customers. Purchased directly from Greenworks, stored indoors, treated properly, and still failed almost immediately. A battery at this price point should deliver years of dependable use, not a few weekends before becoming dead weight.”

Steer very clear as only grief and hassle!

Can only describe what I have experienced is a complete shambles from order to present day.
Received mower two weeks after my money was taken. The mower on arrival had no batteries or charger and damaged badly. Bought through Amazon but they do not want to know as this is 3rd party seller and even Amazon were paid BEWARE AS THE DISTANCE THEMSELVES FROM ANY INVOLVEMENT! OUTRAGEOUS!! I am where I am and out of pocket to a tune of £290 and sick of Amazon and Greenworks as nobody stepped up to the plate! At least I still have option of chargeback on my card which I will certainly pursue! Be very aware of companies that do not have contact number just a contact form that nobody ever answers. Pretend to be interested bu in truth nobody is and this 3rd party nonsense seems like a hustle!!!!

Very very slow

Very very slow, poor customer service. Took three weeks for them to respond to my query by which time it was too late. I ordered the wrong mower by mistake, contacted them straight away to try and cancel order to place new one. No way of speaking to anyone in person. Now stuck with a mower that I don’t want.

Appalling customer service!!!!!An order…

Appalling customer service!!!!!An order was accidentally placed on 15th April and I emailed immediately requesting cancellation. Despite this, the item was still delivered on 17th April. I refused delivery at the door and followed up with another email the same day.
The shipping company confirmed the item was returned to Greenworks’ warehouse on 20th April. It is now 14th May and I have still not received a single acknowledgement email, update or refund from Greenworks.
Multiple emails have been ignored with no communication whatsoever. I have now had to raise a refund dispute through my bank, which can take up to 45 days to resolve, and Greenworks have not even responded to the bank either.
It is extremely frustrating and unacceptable to leave customers completely in the dark for this long, especially when the item was never even accepted or used.
The lack of customer support and failure to communicate has been far more disappointing than the original ordering mistake itself. I would strongly advise others to think carefully before purchasing if they expect timely communication or reliable after-sales support.

2100 Pressure Washer turbo nozzle doesn't hold up

I bought a 2100 pressure washer 4 years ago and the turbo nozzle stopped working after a few years, phone Greenworks to see if they would do something and they simply state that it's no longer under warranty. I will certainly think twice about purchasing another Greenworks tool.

Don't buy this product if you don't…

Don't buy this product if you don't want to be disappointed

The product arrived with a toggle that didn't have the thread to tighten it.

It also has been very difficult to start sometimes starting and other times not. More often not starting.
When using the mower it is back heavy with very little weight at the front keeping it balanced. The batteries although do hold the charge only take up half the battery compartment which I believes is contributing to the problem of balance overall.
Subsequently the front bar came out of its position and is hanging loose.
I have contacted the company directly with no response except an aknowledgement of my query emails.
I have waited ages to be able to afford a new battery mower as I can no longer use my hayter petrol mower due to my age and physical fitness. I really wish I could go back to using my Hayter, which actually is just as easy to push (not being self propelled) as this model which is self propelled.
Feel completely let down.

Absolute worst customer service EVER

Absolute worst customer service EVER! Bought a chainsaw and a pole saw. Was able to do the work with the pole saw. Chainsaw was unopened. Went online to return it and it says "within 30 days", nowhere does it say 30 days from purchase date or delivery day date. The saw was ordered on April 3rd, received on April 11th, tried to return on May 5th. After being told by the rep that I cannot return it because it's over 30 days, I then asked to speak to a supervisor who just told me the same thing over again. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!!!!! UNBELIEVABLE

Difficult to resolve issues

Greenworks policies made it very difficult to resolve an issue with 3 yr product coverage I bought at checkout for $50. I found out Greenworks already has a 4 yr manufacturer warranty so I tried to cancel the XCover policy. Their website says to contact Greenworks for this but I spoke to 2 Greenworks agents so far who said I had to contact XCover. The last GW agent was able to escalate to a dept that is now processing a refund (thank you!). But why offer additional coverage when the manufacturer's is in place?? Feels like a trap.

Return cost me over 50% of my purchase

I was trying to replace the vacuum pieces to my 40V blower/vac and had an incredibly frustrating time. The worst part was that I returned the items and, on a $46 purchase, got back about $20 after return shipping. To make matters just a bit more maddening, the online instructions told me to sent the three pieces back in separate boxes with separate return slips. They all came in one box, so that was bizarre. I had to call customer support and they clarified that I could use a single box. I Love their tools but I'll never buy from them directly again. Stay with Amazon.

Absolutely appalling customer service

Absolutely appalling customer service.

We have recent purchased a set of Greenworks gardening equipment. Unfortunately, I cannot comment on the quality of the product because we aren’t able to use them.

Upon arrival, the 40v charger had clear damage, scuff marks, on the unit. It’s clearly a returned/refurbed charger and after approximately 20 mins of charging the charger goes into fault mode with a flashing amber light.

It’s frustrating that the product doesn’t work, however, what is really starting to grate on me is the utterly appalling customer service.

There is no clear method of communication, they are coming back to us for more information with no platform, email, contact for us to reply to with the information they require.

The want video clips of the error (why on earth do they need a video of their own product flashing amber?!?!). But there is no method to send/upload a video.

Every time we try and respond and we have to start with the serial number (along with a picture) and invoice number, again and again to avoid dealing with the issue. They even have a 2 week advised response time!?!

They clearly have no consideration for their customers, they are cutting corners, re-packing faulty products and spinning a messy web to avoid any accountability for their awful products.

I was strongly advise looking at alternative companies who value their customer base

Brought my 22in 80 volt self propelled…

Brought my 22in 80 volt self propelled lawnmower through Costco online. It was pretty easy to put together. The batteries charged quickly and I was ready to mow as I mowed. I noticed the front right wheel wasn’t really touching the ground and seemed not to roll well. I finished mowing and went to clean the mower. I found that the wheel wasn’t either put on right or the axle was bent thank God for Costco. I was able to bring it back used and return it. I orders a second one and it came about five days later only to take it out of the box and find the exact same problem front right wheel hitting the mower deck brought that one back to Costco and will not be buying another one. Greenworks definitely has a manufacturing or shipping issue.

Terrible battery life

Terrible battery life. Found out the charger is junk after I bought 4 more batteries for my mower. They told me they never heard of a charger going bad. They would t let me send in the junk charger to prove it. Said buy a new one. Don't purchase one.

Horrible customer service. I contacted GW about my battery powered vacuum and followed all of the instructions to email pictures and videos, but never received a response. I have now been on hold for an hour to try and speak to a customer service representative.
