At the check-in desk
At the check-in desk, the staff member, who was new, mistakenly let us pay HKD 780 via Apple Pay. Mistakes happen, and that was not an issue for us.
However, her manager, Mme Tam, then approached us and began explaining why Apple Pay could not be accepted, but in a very unfriendly tone. By that point, the payment had already been debited, yet she insisted that we pay a second time with my physical card. She did so without offering any apology for the error and was, at times, almost rude.
Overall, her behaviour felt unprofessional and left a very poor impression.
