Grafe Auction was hired to take care of my sister's estate. They talk a good story but they do not pay attention to details and were completely irresponsible. During the personal property auction, we had set aside some items in a closet to keep for the family (they did not say that we should take them off the property). They did not have enough people at the auction to watch over everything and all of the items were stolen, including my mother's sterling silver which was worth an estimated $12,000. They gave us $1000 to compensate for it. I should have fought this and gotten more but I was too tired and tried to tell myself it was just "stuff." But we hired them to do their job - and they didn't.
