Terrible experience
We had booked an apartment in Athens, Greece with GPM Greece Services. A couple of weeks before our arrival, we still had not received any information about our check-in or any confirmation, so we tried to contact GPM Greece services, but got no reply until the day before we were supposed to leave for holiday. The reply was that we were going to get information at two pm the day of our arrival, because of this we arrived in Athens without any information about the apartment (no adress, check-info, ...). Furthermore, we did not get any information at two pm either, so we had to reach out ourselves again. An hour later we finally got a response, after much back and forth they told us that there was a problem with the previous guests and we could not go to the apartment, we could however get into another apartment. This other apartment was fine, however it was not at all what we booked (a lot further from public transportation, etc.), so we asked when we could move to the apartment we actually booked, again the communication was terrible, and we had to reach out ourselves every time before we got a reply, even though they would always say that they would contact us at a specific time, they never did. A couple days later, we could finally enter the apartment we booked, however this was just another disappointment, there were A LOT of things wrong with the apartment. Almost all of the lightbulbs in the apartment did not work, in the bathroom there was only one out of six lightbulbs that was working. There was no shower door (but there was very much meant to be one). Next to the bed there was a broken lamp, with live wire out of the wall next to our pillows, we did not feel safe sleeping next to this live wire. So, we decided to matras to the floor, during which we noticed that the matras was full of mold. There was also a nasty stain on the couch. All in all it was not a good experience. We tried to contact the owners again to tell them about all the things wrong, but of course as usual we got no reply. We paid full price and do not think that it was worth it.
