Disgusted with the way they treated my daughter

Disgusted with the way they treated my daughter went in for premature camshaft chain wear, which can cause engine failure they said her car was OK didn't need it changed would change the oil didn't do that used her car for a parts run she has camera's and mileage monitors for her business and didn't change the oil her car broke down because of the chain failure said it wasn't that and would take over £3000 to repair the car she took it to another garage changed her £1500 said it was vauxhalls fault as the chain had failed they wouldn't take any responsibility.

Looker Vauxhall St Helens

Looker Vauxhall St Helens

Looker Vauxhall St Helens

I purchased a used Vauxhall Astra from lookers in St Helens with promise to buy with confidence, and the sales reps words was, ( If you are not happy with your vehicle for what ever reason within 30 days you can ask for an exchange or a full refund and go else were, and this is all over the Vauxhalls web site )

Don't fall for there lies and deceit this is on the Vauxhalls website and Not Lookers yet lookers are using this sales pitch to sucker you into handing over your hard earned cash

I returned my Vehicle within the first seven days for a full refund and was advised that there was no such thing SUPRIZE ??

Been stuck with a vehicle that as been in and out due to faults, also a recall, and sat nav faulty system and is still on going since February 2018 to date, Vauxhalls aftercare complaints team are a waste of time and have really no obligation to do much for you The Manager as been dealing with my issues for the past few weeks and as only contacted me once via email

I also part exchanged a vehicle that I purchased from them a Ford Fiesta I paid extra for the service plan, it was under warranty and the service plan covered the part that was supposed to be a genuine part according to the service plan: The part was None Genuine that they fitted a very poor excuse was given

The vehicle that I part exchanged was sold on by Vauxhalls with full HPI Clearance check, I have just recently found out that Lookers at Vauxhalls in St Helens had forgot to settle the HP and I have been getting charged payments for that Vehicle for the past 18 months that Lookers took in part ex

Here is what Vauxhalls have decide to do: They are supposed to be sending my Finance company a check for the settlement figure that was given back in February 2018; Then my finance company will realise there as been an over payment and then the Finance will refund me all payments that I have over paid to date

I have been advised that this can take up to 7-10 working days, in the mean time I have been given a apology over the phone My Sat nav is still out dated despite the promise of an update, when one was available to date nobody as been in touch to book the vehicle in for an update but an update is available according to Vauxhalls after care complaints team, don't be shocked when you don't get what you pay for you have been warned

Think twice and very hard to what you are getting at Lookers Vauxhall in St Helens when purchasing a vehicle from them and any extra service plans available:

Santander finance as said they will make a part payment only, as the settlement figure that Vauxhalls paid had expired ( Not Surprising ) as it was 18 months ago

Santander as advised me that Lookers will owe me the rest, I have contacted Steve from Looker St Helens finance whom promised to call me back Friday afternoon on the 23 August 2019 Steve did state that they was trying to get Santander to pay all of the over payments due to me as Steve said he does not think that it is right that Lookers Vauxhalls from St Helens should pay me any over payments even tho they did Not settle the finance of the Vehicle that they bought from me in part exchange on February 2018:

I explained to Steven that they owe me the money and I want it sorting, If I had missed any payments they would of been looking at a repossession order, Steve said leave it with him and he will call me back that afternoon: Steve never called back or did he call me the following day

I WILL KEEP YOU UPDATED

update; 27/08/2019

I phoned the number this morning that Justin Woodcraft supplied it put me through to an assistant, who was unable to put me through to Mr Woodcraft, the assistant advised me that they do NOT have any contact numbers for Management ?

I have also contacted Jeremy Townsend director of communications this morning Via Email and I am now awaiting response

I will keep you updated throughout my ordeal keep checking back in to see how Lookers from St Helens are responding to my Complaints

No after sales care - big communication and trust let down

I purchased a van from GO Vauxhall Staple's Corner and need to sort a few snags back home. This meant I had to pay for the repairs myself and send invoices for reimbursement. The cost isn't much, just £228. However, trying to get reimbursed is a joke. I sent the invoices immediately, but must have made 10 phone calls over 5 weeks just for them to confirm it has been processed. It's the classic, "let just check and call you back" and no return phone call is ever received. I am still waiting to be reimbursed and still waiting to hear back from my latest phone call yesterday morning, but it will be me calling them back again tomorrow. Very poor after sales care; even for such a simple task.

Avoid , find a different car brand and dealer.

This review relates to the branch in Hayes/Yeading

First of all please be very careful with this company. They have angered many of the local residents by parking their cars on the local roads and their staff exhibiting rude behaviour. They have been reported to the council who have interceded. I was told this when coming out of the showroom by 2 different local residents protesting outside.

Secondly the staff employ a hard sell technique , when I went in to enquire about a vehicle I was almost set upon with a hard sell . When explaining I did not wish to purchase immediately and wanted time to think I was made to feel like I wasted their time .

My advice is to go elsewhere

Rip Off Vauxhall Dealer Staples Corner

After reading reviews about Now Vauxhall Staples Corner, now Known as Go Vauxhall, I was not surprised to read the negative reviews.
I myself have had the misfortune to have dealt with them, my car broke down on the 5th May 2018 and was towed in by the RAC, Vauxhall had my car for 3 weeks and told me that my high presure fuel pump was at fault, despite the RAC report stating that the fuel pump in the fuel tank was at fault, Vauxhall at Staples Corner charged me £894 after my service club discount and my car was ready to collect, I must say during this 3 week period, promised phone calls were not forthcoming as to the progress of my car
My car lasted approx. 3 miles only to brake down again with the same fault, again towed into Vauxhall for a second time to rectify the fault, again by the RAC and again the fuel tank fuel pump was diagnosed as the fault by the RAC.
I told Vauxhall this and again they had my car for another 3 weeks telling me that a technical fault had been raised , just in my opinion a fob off from their service department, after the 3 week period Vauxhall came to the same conclusion as the RAC the fault was with the fuel tank fuel pump, another £394 for the pleasure of parking my car down at Vauxhall.
During the second period of time with Vauxhall at Staples Corner my car suffered damage to the rear passenger door N/S , Vauxhall refuse to rectify the problem stating that damage was recorded on their check in sheet carried out on the first period of repair on the 5th May, the second period 2nd June when my car was returned for rectifying the fault previously no check sheet was completed, so Vauxhall have used an Old sheet.
I argued with the service manager who would not agree that damage could have occurred on the second period with them and would only refer to the old check in sheet.
Something I would have expected from a back street garage, not a main dealer I have cancelled my service plan with them and will never go to a Vauxhall dealer again, I only wish I had read other reviews about Now Vauxhall at staples corner, now called Go Vauxhall , different name same rubbish service, please please please avoid at all costs
