I don´t recommend listing your retreat at Gotoretreats.com
We listed our first retreat at Gotoretreats under the expectation that, despite it being our first one, we had the ambition to make it a success.
We agreed upon an additional (paid) Meta-campaign service, which was sold as a professional consultancy, but not perceived as such, because of the following experience. To successfully onboard participants for a retreat, you need to build trust.
This Meta-campaign only gave us email addresses, without phone numbers and/ or social media channels to create this personal connection. This gap in the Meta Campaign consultancy service resulted in lost opportunities for the registration of retreat participants.
We also got zero registration from their website, which comes across as low traffic.
Despite sharing this feedback with Gotoretreats multiple times, we unfortunately did not receive an improvement update. Therefore, we decided to unlist our venue from their website.
