Booked a flight through Booking…

Booked a flight through Booking (Gotogate handled the flight transfer), and two weeks ago I received an email stating that I had been rescheduled to a flight over 2.5 hours later. This would have extended my layover in Bangkok from 1.5 hours to over 4 hours. So, I called them and said I wanted to be moved to an earlier flight (there were incredibly many available), pointed one out, and told them I wanted to travel on that one. I then had to wait two weeks. It shouldn't be any harder than just moving me to another flight, since the issue wasn't due to a natural disaster but rather for 'administrative reasons.'

After two weeks of total silence, I received a confirmation email saying my request was accepted and that I would be moved to the flight I asked for. Then I received my new itinerary from Gotogate, and they hadn't even moved me to the flight I requested. So now I have to submit yet another request to be moved, and I'm flying in less than 3 weeks—and last time it took them two weeks just to reply. DO NOT BOOK THROUGH THEM."

Horrible service, hidden double charges, and 4 weeks of ignoring a system error!…

I am extremely disappointed with Gotogate. I booked a flight via Booking.com and paid for checked baggage in advance. However, due to a system error on Gotogate's end, the airline (KLM) had no record of my payment at the airport. I was forced to pay another €80.00 on the spot just to board my flight!
For 4 long weeks, I have tried to resolve this with their customer service, but they completely ignore the issue and refuse to refund my money. This is unacceptable. I have already filed a formal dispute (Chargeback) through my bank (Sparkasse) and submitted a legal complaint to the European Consumer Centre (ECC).

„It's been over 90 days since Wizz Air…

What do 'lodging needs' have to do with a cancelled Wizz Air flight? This automated response clearly proves that you don't even read customer complaints. I don't need template apologies; I need my money back. According to European Regulation EC 261/2004, the refund for a cancelled flight must be processed within 7 days, not after more than 90 days of you and Booking.com playing the blame game.Holding passenger funds illegally is a severe law violation!! Issue my refund immediately!

No one to contact when I need…

No one to contact when I need assistance, just a shity computer answers same things over and over again. I need to do some changes and nothing works one to assist or talk to , clearly this company is a scam guys never book true this agency/ website

I only gave one star because there was…

I only gave one star because there was no option for zero stars.
They provided me with a booking reference via email and said it may take upto 72 hours for confirmation.
After 72 hours and no confirmation, I made contact with their chat bot, but my booking reference could not be recognised.
There's a revolving door with the chat bot and no options to speak with a human.
Ultimately I worked out I didn't have an order and the flights I wanted were no longer available.
Do not use these total muppets, they will ruin your holiday.

Very disappointed with GoToGate's…

Very disappointed with GoToGate's customer service.

I contacted GoToGate multiple times regarding a name correction on my Air India booking. GoToGate informed me that they had submitted a request to Air India and were waiting for approval, while Air India advised me to contact GoToGate because the booking was made through them.

As a customer, I was left stuck between the airline and the travel agency without a clear solution. My travel date is approaching, and despite several contacts, the issue remains unresolved.

I expected better communication, clearer information, and more proactive support. This experience has been stressful and frustrating. Based on my experience, I would think carefully before booking through GoToGate again.

Worst company to deal with

Worst company to deal with. My airline cancelled my return flight. I have been waiting for refund for a month. Different agents tell you different things. I think they just don’t want to refund customers. Worst company to deal with. Never book with them. AVOID!!!

Worst company ever

Worst company ever. Don't ever book anything with them. I've been trying to get a refund for my cancelled flight (booked through booking.com) and they keep saying I need to go the airline while the airline says I need to go to the travel agent (Gotogate). I've sent like 10 emails, called them, still no progress whatsoever. They keep repeating the same standard response just to get rid of me and when I call them they promise me to solve the issue but when they hang up the phone, nothing is solved.

Gotogate tries to avoid the refund

Although my ticket was cancelled by the airline company, they only paid me just around 60% of it after around 3 months after I called them many times to request. After calling them again for many weeks I could only receive 20% of it back. Since then, it has been many weeks and I kept asking for the unpaid 20% and still without any results. In the meantime my money has lost value due to the currency. They are simply trying to profit from unprovided service which is against the laws and rules. Don't buy from this company if you don't wanna get into trouble.

Contradicting information and taking a very long time still no refund.

Airline cancelled my booking, airline confirmed to me that they have refunded with booking.com which uses gotogate to issue flight tickets but yet they keep telling me the funds are still with the airline which is a lie, the airline given me the refund transaction number, i have another booking on the same flight booked as trip.com for my other family members and it was already refunded promptly. The airline has already confirmed with me since 19 May they have already refunded the money to the agent when my flight was cancelled.

Got a canceled flight from the airline

Got a canceled flight from the airline, gotoget didn't inform me about it, luckily I checked with customer service cause I couldn't see the status flight, now I'm struggling to get a refund, they keep telling you, we'll get back to you but nothing, still waiting to get 8000€ refund. My advice is do not book with them cause if you get any problem with your flight the customer service is very bad and will not be able to do anything expect telling you no worries we will get back to you!!!

Bad so bad experience

My English is not perfect, but I will try to explain. I bought flight tickets to Canada and wanted to call to ask if it was possible to change the flight dates and how much it would cost additionally. I talked for 23 minutes in vain and was not given any information. They switched the conversation 3 times to a different specialist because they had no information and with each minute the conversation cost me more and more.
Bad, so bad experience.
We talked for 23 minutes, during which time the conversation was redirected to a new specialist who kept asking for the same reservation code and name. The conversation was deliberately prolonged in order to pay more to the operators, other voices and laughter could be heard in the background, I wanted to know how much it would cost to change the dates, but I decided to end the conversation when they announced that they would connect me with another specialist ( 5 times), I was running out of patience..

I booked my trip through GoToGate and…

I booked my trip through GoToGate and purchased a booking that included Connection Guarantee.

Due to a delayed flight, I missed my connecting flight and had to buy replacement tickets for €250 to reach my destination.

I contacted GoToGate and provided the details of my case. Despite the Connection Guarantee being included in my booking, my claim was denied and I was left to cover the additional travel costs myself.

This experience was very disappointing. I purchased the guarantee specifically for situations like this, but when I needed assistance, I did not receive the support I expected.

Based on my experience, I would be cautious about relying on the Connection Guarantee when booking through GoToGate.
